  1. 4D chess is the right term, because the 4th dimension is time. BriseBois is making all his moves in the window his team has to win.

When the bottom falls out, you deal with that when it comes.

  2. Would love to watch anything hockey related that didn’t have five minutes of gambling content.

  3. Chris: "You have to have cache with your owner to make a trade like this"
Yeah, and he just blew that cache on one player with three more goals than Linus Ulmark. I don't care how you guys spin it, that was a terrible trade. Tampa is looking at the Leafs across a table, and Tampa was the one that blinked first. They panicked and made a bad decision because of it. Pure and simple.

  4. I wouldn't be surprised if it came out years from now that Briesboi and Dubas were friends and constantly learning from each other. They tend to make a lot of deals between each other.

  5. Stats show that odds of a 5th rounder into NHL full time is about 10%. 4th rounder around 15%. 3rd rounders about 22%. Odds of being a huge impact player from those rounds is very high. It's pretty rare. Tampa have a strong minor league development system in place. That gives them the luxury of trading off some picks.

  6. It's actually crazy how good SDPN has gotten. CJ show,The steve dangle podcast and agent provocateur 👏🤌

  7. Tanner Jeannot is an RFA and the talking point is they didn't have to trade him. Timo Meier is an RFA and the talking point is they had to trade him. Just stop please.

  8. And Ken Holland wants his 2025 1st round pick to play wing to mcdavid. Pull the trigger Edmonton!!!

  9. Cal Foote is going to be a great d man, but tampas window is only good for couple more years. Same with boston

  10. A good player is a good player, but a draft pick could be anything. It could even be a good player

  11. Come here for trade deadline, stay for the discussion on cloning and artificial intelligence

  12. Lehky was a RFA just like jeannot and got Barron + a 2nd pick. Lehky is better than Jeannot and got less than half the return. Now GMs know you can ask the moon to brisebois and you will get it.

  13. When it comes to which team paid what for whom isn't the basic law of commerce that a commodity is worth exactly the amount that acquires it?
