Love granny too, but this is also the right move. Last move should be fabbro for a pick and then be done. Still need to keep some vets to raise the kids.

All the picks. Gimme all the picks. I love this trade

I genuinely did not think there would be this many moves. I hate it, but I love it.

Can I have Egor now tho?

Pretty good deal especially if we don’t retain any salary

I love this trade. Considering his cap hit and production, this is great value

Must have been impressed with him last night…

Okay, now flip Barrie. Keep going!

That’s an amazing return for what was a depreciating asset who truthfully was on a Meh contract and not really producing.

  8. I can’t believe they got a 2nd out of granny. I legitimately thought we would have to give someone a prospect to take him this offseason, his contract looks bad and still has 2 years on it…yikes Pittsburgh

Damn. Granny has been a delight over the years. Thank you Granny.

One one hand Granlund was showing some decline and that deal could go down hill quite quickly.

On the other hand a second round pick ain’t enough. Like for fucks sake at least try for a conditional first where if the Pens do x and y the Predators get the first, else second.

Wonder how it feels to lose a game and the next day it’s a win?

I am a casual NHL/Preds fan, how long do NHL rebuilds like the one were are doing usually take before the team is competitive again. I feel like in the NBA if you do a fire sell and blow up a team it’s 4-5 years before the franchise is hopefully competitive again

I’m stoked about this move. Unloaded a heavy contract on a pass first winger (since we are too stocked at C). Good move. He may not be past prime, but he is not the right fit for what we need him to do.

All that’s left is fabbro (I’m split), McDonagh if he waives, lankinen, Saros (imo, if return is high), Barrie, and yak

Hate to see him go, but I’ll feel a little better if they confirm that it’s a 2023 pick

Not mad at this one, he has been a ghost this year, Trotz will be having a lot of fun this off-season
