This is not what I signed up for as a Predators fan. Rebuilding SUCKS. Yes, it is true that we were slightly underperforming this year after our 2 good off season acquisitions. I was dead serious about re-signing Forsberg, my favorite player. When we locked him back up I was all locked in. I still believe we could have grabbed a wild card spot at least, we started to get hot, then Forsberg got hurt for a "day to day" my behind! We could have had a legitimate chance in the playoffs because Saros isn't hurt like last year, but that stupid Chicken GM decided to take the team down with his career. This is heart wrenching and I don't think the Preds will ever recover from this botching deadline. Might as well trade Josi & Forsberg too! If I knew this was coming I'd have wished Forsberg would've went for better last off-season. Not only Hockey, but all big 4 rosters have officially gone to waste. Sports are becoming rapidly distasteful. Thanks for nothing.

I would think its either Miller or Garland. Garland has outplayed Boeser and is cheaper. Do the penguins really want Miller at 8M till he's 37?

It’s a perfect setup once again for the leafs. Always hyping up a team that’ll never be built for the playoffs per usual. When they are bounced by the end of the 1st round. Again will be the crying by the fan base the media scratching heads calling for a coach change fire the GM blah blah blah. Then the usual circle of off season talk and bolster the hype for the next as “this year will be the one”😂😂 when this organization fails year after year since ‘67 we laugh hysterically at the fact they’ll never again win the big one. The only reason they won their cups was the facts of only having 5 other teams to play against. So those believe it’s their year. Think again your team will never us the parade route for another 50+ years. This organization is the Cowboys of the NHL 😂
For the Oilers, is the upgrade from Barrie to Ekholm that much that is worth all that? Seems like it's too much for Ekholm. Barrie wasn't playing that bad.
Eckholm's had 10 years of superb goaltending behind him. Now at 32 he will have never have worked harder to keep the puck out of his own net.
