Came home from work just in time to see the Bertuzzi trade and Pasta extension drop. Felt like chaos for a couple of minutes.
So does this open room for V/Zadina/Kubi/whoever has had to sit to all play? Barring any of them traded of course.
I guess Yzerman just showed who is wearing the pants in this house, to all of you speculating that we might be buyers.
So what now lads? How’s next season looking?
Bruins block the 5th fewest shots/60 in the league so Bertuzzi’s hands will probably be safe there (Detroit is 13th fewest which I find absolutely hard to believe)
With Hronek and Bertuzzi gone are we going to see some GR call ups soon? Soderblom? Edvinsson? Johansson apparently plays the right side often
I hate how well Bertuzzi is going to fit in Boston (good for Bert, but screw Boston)
I don’t know why everyone is so quick to say call up Ed for his 9 games, LD is still filled and he still isn’t ready. If any prospect gets a look A.Jo is the more ready prospect to get a look and people seem to forget about him. Plus, he’s played right side some times in Sweden and with Ed currently in the AHL.
