Ah well. Knowing the Canucks they could’ve had three straight 1st RD picks in the next draft and taken their versions of Zboril, DeBrusk, Senyshyn.
Hronek, Raty, Beauvilier and a 4th for Horvat and 2nd is a pretty good return. Although they are gambling on next year being a lot different which is not the best course of action imo. I wish Hronek had an extra year or two on his deal, but I guess if they aren't in contention next year, they can flip him, Beauvilier and maybe even Pettersson at next year's deadline, since I honestly don't see him resigning, plus I think he deserves a lot better if things don't change QUICK. More importantly, Myers, Boeser and OEL g2g asap, they just don't fit with this team. I know Miller gets a lot of criticism, but I think he's a gamer come playoff time. Although if we could trade him to the Jackets now that would be amazing. Imagine if management was creative and got Sillinger, Vorachek (buyout), Jiricek/Boqvuist for Miller, Boeser (who could then be flipped to 3rd team like Pens)… I just don't think they have the courage for a move like that, plus Aquilini is a stooge so God help us all. Just trade Myers ASAP since OEL is impossible to move.
