[Habs Links] Elliotte Friedman sur FAN590 tout à l’heure : « La chose sur laquelle je travaille, c’est que j’ai entendu dire que Tampa s’intéressait à Joel Edmundson. » Mentionné que ce n’est pas encore fait.
Elliotte Friedman on @FAN590 just now: “The thing I’m working on, is I’ve heard Tampa has some interest in Joel Edmundson.” Mentioned it’s not a done deal yet. #Habs

What do they even have to give anymore lol
I’d target their 2026 1st personally.
I’d be willing to bet that it’s gonna be something like Barre-Boulet and a 2nd or 3rd
Retain 50% baby, Tampa’s horny for cap space
plz
Considering they gave a load of defenders I’m guessing Eddy with some sort of retention (Tampa would love a cost controlled Eddy for next year) for Ian Cole and Isaac Howard? They could save up to 1.5 on Eddy so -1mill net this year versus Cole and give away a very late first round prospect fine in the NCAA but nothing to be scared to lose?
They have nothing to give
Edmundson for 1st + Drouin for shits and gigles
He just tweeted Friedman said it wasn’t happening
Why the urgency to trade eddy this year? Let him come back from his injury, hope he has a big year next season and trade him at max value then
Don’t mind Eddy but he’s broken at this point….back injuries never usually heal. Let him go somewhere to possibly win
Friedman…
Seems like this is a false rumour

Hope they get swindled into oblivion
Edit: or not
My minimum asking price is 5 picks, one first and one second, and a B level prospect.
If you pay that much for Jeannot, that’s the starting point.
It seems like a false rumor, but for what it is worth, does Tampa even have something worthwhile to trade anymore?
Imagine we got back Corey Perry lol
Edmundson + Monahna LTIR Kucherov with another 18 million over cap t-shirt this summer
