dallas lacks size and defense. right now a lot of videos are saying the kyrie and luka pairing doesn't work but i really think it's just not a good cast around them more than i think it's those two. rightfully so j kidd is getting some flack as well. mostly just curious to see what kyrie does in the offsseason.
we're in that weird transition phase of the nba where we are at the back end of one era of players while the next generation is fighting for who takes over. the old guard is just like any older generation when the end is around the corner and won't just go away easily. the lakers could very well win it although they wouldn't be my pick for it. right now i would take the suns but i feel like i reserve the right to see how just how they play with kd before being held to that pick.

I mean Kidd ain’t 100% wrong. Coming from a college basketball player who’s about to go into the regional tournament, players gotta be held accountable too for playing D and executing the gameplans correctly, especially down the stretch. You can blame bad rotations and play calling, but when you get to a high enough level of bball, sometimes you just gotta work with what you got.
If that foot was hurting before why did he play in the all star game then?

Luka is an offensive threat! Defense at times doesn’t even exist and he puts in more effort arguing with refs than even trying to grab rebounds. Plus is it me or does Luka always seem to be in shape at start of season and then gradually bulks up.

The Dallas Mavericks are not good enough to win a NBA championship. Last year they made it to the Western Conference Finals. Not this year. They will make the second round. That's it. Mark Cuban wants another NBA championship so badly. That, he thought that by getting Kyrie Irving, it would get his team to the NBA Finals again, when Dirk was there. He's going to be disappointed when they don't go. Look at Mark Cuban's face. When the Mavericks get eliminated before the Finals. That will be epic to see. When the TV cameras focus on him. Sitting in the stands.
