  1. Big win for the boys tonight! Even with two early whistles from the refs. Thanks for the 2 points Toronto

  2. This was simply a great game. McDavid got three points in the first like it's nothing. Everyone put in the effort, there was depth scoring, and a good fight. Easily could have been a higher scoring affair. Ekholm is going to be a real anchor for the defense. Glad to have him on the team. I don't want to get too far ahead here, but I believe a Cup is in the queue.

  3. How many suspicious things is Woody gonna say? "He's a huge man" (I know he meant tall and stuff but still I had to laugh)

  4. 2 complete games in a row…thats a good start.. 1-1 with 20 games to go. Gotta come in 4 games over .500. Lets keep the good times rolling.

  5. Oilers are starting to go in the right direction. Strong effort against Boston, a game we could of easily won if some things went our way. And we beat on Toronto tonight, but now we have 2 big games against Winnipeg coming. Hope we can win them both

  6. Really good TEAM WIN with some physical stuff. Kostin doing his thing and NUGE dropping mitts and chuck’n knucks! Did see 29 skating back more tonight and really showed some speed.

  7. Definitely . Again the ref …..was a bit too quick on the whistle…..but oh well…..say laveee

  8. Foeegle's goal was still a goal, even with the "inadvertent" whistle. If a play is blown dead in error, and the puck continues into the net as a result of a last contact before the whistle, it's still a goal. The ref should have been willing to admit his mistake and do his proper video review of when the contact was so he could make it right.

  9. That call-back because of McDavid's interference was legit, but that early whistle on Foegele was a tough break.

  10. I honestly didn't notice draisaitl playing two way, but I trust what Jay said… Interesting

  11. Nurse was skating his ass off tonight. I think he's trying to puff up his chest now since we got Eckholm.

  12. It was one game. Relax Oiler fans. Leafs had 5 new players with 1 practice. Chill. Your team should be called the McDavid. If he doesn't play. Y'all suck

  13. Maybe the best coach in the NHL ! Happy he noticed Leon's game. He was a TOTAL BEAST TONIGHT ! Using his body and stickhandling like never before ! If this is Leon's play for the remaining of the year, watch out WEST !

  14. For the first time in 60 games of the season, it felt like a team game. Especially in terms of energy and team spirit. This is definitely a step forward. Even the deletions didn't spoil anything, but you still need to get rid of them (removing Mcdevid doesn't count, he can))) The only negative is the terrible game of Hyman – a person simply does not understand that you need to play a pass and spoils a lot of moments without giving to partners, but trying to do something himself. Hyman can not be put in the same link with Connor, Hyman spoils a lot of moments by overexposing the puck. With Hyman playing like this, he needs to play with Janmark and MacLeod. Worse than a player who thinks that he can decide individually (but at the same time cannot) for the team can not come up.

  15. I think if this coach is smart he would go with Skinner tomorrow not Campbell. Don't make the same mistake that you made after the Penguins game.

  16. Two very solid games. Hopefully Nurse learns something from Ekholm; he certainly didn't learn anything from Keith or Klefbom. If he doesn't learn how to make a play, instead of shoveling the puck away, he is not the asset Holland thought he was.
