Great fucking 2nd and 3rd! That’s more like it!!!

  2. Beast98

Never thought I’d see the day where this team is capable of a defensive clinic like that

  3. ProfessorBeast55

TJ Brodie is so good man. What a difference he makes

  4. DangleCellySave

Mitch Marner team MVP, guys so electric, also Kerfoot has been playing really well lately, love to see it

  5. Nextgengameing

That’s how you park the bus to win a game. Great defence tonight boys

  6. SteezyBreezy-

What a win. Excited for what’s to come if we keep building on this

  7. Quazzy95

Now that was a bounce back game. Especially that third !

  8. DMorrin15

    Gutsy fucking win.

Woll with 2 GA in his last two starts.

  9. oatmealleafer

That’s a great game on the second half of a back to back against a rested and desperate team. Granted we should have been well rested too after not even showing up last night. Take away the bounce over Gustafsson’s stick on the Coleman goal and it’s damn near perfect.

  10. ExcitementMedical

Joe Woll had a really good game.

  11. Sixgod801

McCabe is a stud. 2 more years at 2mill for this guy? Fuck yea

  12. Longjumping-Cable963

Half of y’all need to step away from GDTs. Holy fuck that was toxic.

  13. nthensome

That was an excellent 2/3rds of a game!

  14. theguyishere16

First 2 periods were a grind and a whole lot of fire drills but Marner and Woll kept them in it. The 3rd is way more what I want to see.

  15. Shooternow

Hangovers officially over! Rough start great finish tonight boys!

  16. throwaway___34

GDT doomers and trolls in shambles

  17. The-Only-Razor

Really liking Woll. It’s early, but have the Leafs actually managed to draft and develop a franchise goalie for once? Is this real life?

  18. DowntownCanadaRaptor

I’ll never get sick of watching our fanbase take over an opposing teams arena. Especially Canadian teams. You know how salty that makes their fans

  19. eagleboy444

Guys that impressed me tn in order of how much they impressed me:

    Marner. Duh.

Kerfoot??? Hell yeah baby! Saucer passes, generating chances off the rush, executing many great zone exits.

The brick Woll. Tracking the puck like a pro, not afraid to poke check, sponge.

McCabe. In a great position defensively all night. Getting in on the offensive rushes. Physicality.

Schenn. Counted at least theee really great de-escalations on some dangerous Calgary chances.

AM34. Getting those shots. Using his feet. Using his body a little more (his biggest asset imo.) Forechecking and backchecking was solid.

Acciari. Rielly. Holl. Gio. Järnkrok. Lafferty. Literally nobody disappointed me.

Great fucking bounceback. Great, well-deserved win. Fuck yes.

  20. A-Random-Leafs-Fan

I Love Mccabe Just trying to murder people out there

  21. Fuuutuuuree

What a clinic by the boys. Tons of high % chances, could’ve easily had more than 2. In front of everything the Flames had. Toughness was all there. Winners mentality. The boys are gonna battle the rest of the way

  22. LardyTard

I think I’m in love with Acciari… Such a great add, does all the little things right and shores up the bottom six no matter who his line mates are

  23. brownmonster

What a defensive shutdown clinic and great response from last night. Hopefully we find the right lineup combinations with good chemistry come playoff time

  24. The doomers in that match thread need therapy lol

  25. somericecake

Jarnkrok scored more in the regular season in the saddledome as a leaf than a flame

  26. asheeponreddit

    Great game from Woll.

Glad the squad showed up with some energy tonight. Marner must’ve had an extra Mountain Dew before this one because he was *flying* out there. AM34 looked stronger on the puck than he has been and Kerfoot was fantastic as well. A few defensive breakdowns in our own end in the first and second but they really got it together in the third.

  27. Significant_News_638

Willing to bet a lot Dubas is gonna be trying to offload Murray this summer. Samsonov – Woll and use that money to help keep ROR

  28. nownowthethetalktalk

I never got the impression that the Leafs were on the end of a back to back. Solid effort, especially in the final two periods.

  29. LimestoneLeaf

I absolutely loved that late shift with Kampf and Acciari mucking it up in Calgary’s zone as time ticked away.

  30. RimmaJamJam

Where all the crybabies at from after the first period? Lol

  31. cornflakes_01

Jarnkrok, accari, kampf. That’s a beauty of a shut down line.

  32. sluck131

McCabe and Schenn both had great consistent games on the back end

  33. MarlKarx777

Just saw a doomer sink to his knees in a gas station

  34. jamesbrownrules

After Schenn left Toronto, I bought his old leafs Jersey for like $20. So happy he’s back with the same number, now my Jersey is relevant again! Anyone else got an old Schenn Jersey?

  35. Marner was electric and that 3rd period is exactly what we want to see! Also great to see Schenn wear that Leafs jersey again tonight

  36. Old_Runescape

What an effort from the entire team defensively.

Shoutout in particular to LUKE FUCKING SCHENN, Joseph 🧱 Woll, and Mitch Marner

  37. leafsptx2710

you doom and gloomers aren’t allowed to enjoy this one

  38. realsalbowski

All the new guys looked good tonight. Loved McCabe and Schenn and the fourth line especially.

  39. panamaqj

    McCabe – Brodie

    Reilly – Schenn

    Gio – Lily

    Extras; Gav, Holl, Timmins.

  40. TheGapInTysonsTeeth

One of Schenn’s first shifts, he lines up the puck carrier at the blue line. The guys stops so Schenn doesn’t crush him, and so my sweet boy proceeds to just one-arm shove him on his ass.

Not gonna lie. I missed it

  41. Hallolusion

Mods should make a rule against being a loser ass doomer. I saw so many absolute crybabies who wailed that this team were rotten horrible frauds who would get swept in the first round after we were down by one single goal, and still even when we were tied. It’s absolutely embarrassing and sickening we have to associate with these schmucks. I’m sick of em.

  42. light_at_the_end

Where are all the idiots from yesterday who said the sky was falling?
