Well, was an ok game even though we lost. Really dont care for Anunnen as he should of had a few of those goals against. Bummer!
It's been said so many times but never enough…this Avs team fights until the end. Down 5-1 and cut it to 6-5. Tough night for Annunen and tough 3rd period. Exited for Lars Eller to be on the team and Jack Johnson's return! Gotta get ready for a big matchup against Dallas Saturday. Hard loss to end the streak but let's keep fighting. Go Avs Go!!

That’s going to be every team’s playbook versus Colorado they are going to forecheck aggressively because Colorado has trouble clearing their defensive zone and are very prone to turnovers in their own zone…Good teams are going to do this against them and exploit that weakness..They need to clean this up before the playoffs start…This team is not as good as they were last year they can’t just out score their mistakes…and I don’t care who or how good you are this is not a good formula for winning especially in the playoffs…It’s a recipe for disaster…They need to clean this up before the playoffs start… I am sorry but this is not just a one game problem…it’s been going on all season and this team is not as good as they were last season so their margins for error are smaller…Last year they could outscore their mistakes they can’t do that this year…It was also a problem the three years prior to winning the cup where they were eliminated in the 2nd round three years in a row…The similarities to those three years and this year’s team is secondary scoring and sloppy play in their own zone…so a second round exit could be imminent this year if they don’t clean up the sloppy play in their own zone…
Annun was not ready for the Devils. Georgie or even the new guy in net would have been a whole different game. I have to question Bednar on this one because pulling up a goalie from the AHL is something you would do if you were clear in a playoff spot or at least double digits above the team behind you, but the Avs are still fighting for the spot. Glad they gave Annun a shot but they need to save him for a weaker opponent.
