1. Glass jaw, sad no respect any more from player to player. Lot of hits look to me like they are trying to injure eachother.

  2. Just because you’re in concussion protocol doesn’t mean you have a concussion.

  3. I can't fathom the idea of the NHL not better protecting their players, that IS the league, that IS the money-maker!!! I'm NOT watching Bettman or an owner, Dept of Player Safety is a no-show.

  4. I like the way Australian rules football handles this issue. The league employs central spotters and if there is any evidence of concussion the player is removed from the game and isn’t allowed to play for 10 days, after which they are reevaluated. Especially since concussion symptoms can be delayed it’s important to wait and see if those symptoms develop before clearing a player to return

  5. He should sit until the playoffs. They have weapons, and are still getting some back from injury themselves. Darren Helm coming back will greatly improve the back ice, and getting Landy back will help alleviate some pressure.

  6. How about increase penalties for rough hits? This game is getting beyond checking. Players are hired to do nothing else by hurt people. They can hardly skate and can't play hockey worth a lick.
This game should not be this dangerous.

  7. Yes, they need to enforce actually meaningful fines (% vs $) and longer suspensions until cheap shots to the head are no longer. As a hockey player, I can say it's disgraceful and shows no love for the game.

  8. It’s not even a question of borderline. Any player any team, gets pay cut and suspended until victim is back to playing. Illegal hit, hit their wallet, and their hockey time.

  9. Fast powerful hits by very conditioned athletes they are going to get hurt sometimes the first hits optics are bad on tv might look different on ice the second hit come on was nothing. These are the risks they all know about and play anyway for money

  10. I don’t think it should be up to the team, Like Franzen in Detroit his potential was unlimited. And he was terrorized by his own coach; Babcock after his concussions and forced to play.

  11. It’s a bad look for Berta boys. Buddy got hit with a wet napkin a couple times and you make a video about it. Canadian hockey is going down the drain

  12. ykw those helmets look like bottle caps. I’d add more padding to where most concussions happen and maybe put one extra strap to make the head properly protected.

  13. The officiating has been absolutely awful this year. Something needs to change

  14. Absolutely Not! This game isn't for pussies, let the pussies go play in the NFL.
