  1. Wow Canadians are bitter! I mean I get it when most if your teams are as close as Az to a cup. I mean Az will get better and un Az winning puts butts in seats.

  2. I am cheering for the coyotes to draft Conor Bedard….that fan base had been so tortured over the last few decades and they deserve that generational player

  3. Don't hate the player hate the game. The LTIR system needs reworked. Also Chychrun asked for a trade. Apart from that deal Bill Armstrong has won most of his trades and done a fantastic job acquiring draft capital for this rebuild

  4. Every NHLPA player is bankrolling the Arizona sideshow by way of escrow deductions from their paychecks that they will never get back. ARI is a drag overall hockey related revenue.

  5. Nah I think it's brilliant, they have what 25 picks(?) in the first 3 rounds over the next 3 years, about the same time frame as when there will be a new arena, being able to have half of their players on entry and rookie contracts by that time, just in time for them to throw a 15+ Million offer at Mathews and anyone else they might want, throw another 15+ at McDavid in a low taxed state where that's like paying them close to to 20 in Canada, have endless prospects to make trades…and if they were able to get Bedard would be even better…They don't need to fill a huge rink right now… They have a great long term plan, people are just way to short sighted…

  6. 4:15 the new arena is going to be privately funded. How are you going to speak on this topic when you clearly have no clue what you’re talking about? How do you have this job?

  7. How do these two stooges get a show? Obviously incredibly short-sighted, incredibly biased takes, not to mention completely unprofessional. I mean, if you're gonna take a dig at the arena, at least get the fact that the new one will be privately funded right. And not to mention that they have, what, 22+ draft picks in the first 3 rounds for the next 3 years? Leafs fans should be scared of that fact. 5 years down the line, yotes will be looking at a playoff run in a new arena, potentially with the next generational talent. meanwhile, the Leafs are realistically staring down 1 or 2 more years of relevancy? Matthews a huge asset to be traded / picked up in FA for the coyotes, too. I knew the OG 6 teams' fan bases were miserable, but jesus christ, these 2 fans might be the most entitled ones I've ever seen.

  8. AZ will continue to stay at the bottom of the NHL. This franchise would be better off with Uncle Rico running the show in AZ. Like have we ever seen a team do anything like this and be successful in any team organized sport. Why the hell would Conor B wanna go to AZ. How going to hold on to Jacob for this long and only get what they did in return. Look what Detroit got for Hronek from Vancouver. Makes no sense at all. Look what Nashville got back from Trading Ekholm, Preds not only received Tyson Barrie, Reid Schaefer, 1st round pick in 2023 and a 4th round pick in 2024
Sens made out like a bunch of bandits on this trade and AZ will continue to be the laughing stock of the league and the bottom feeds of salary dumps

  9. Nothing that the Coyotes are doing is against the rules. If you want the rule of LTIR changed fine but don't be taking a shot at them for just that. Leafs might be in the same camp in a couple years if they keep failing in the play-offs.

  10. The issue is that the NHL only cares about cap circumvention in one way. Gary is cool with his owners bending the rules to save money, but not bending them to spend more and making it look like they have more to give when it comes to signing players and building teams. The fix is simple; Luxury Tax.

  11. There are not that many team in the NHl. How do you not know the teams Arizona Coyotes and not Phx. The owners are not asking for tax payer dollars dum dum. Get the facts right if you are going to have a show.

  12. They are all just playing the Game. Tampa with no cap in the playoffs, Toronto taking advantage of the draft a few years ago, now get players for $0.25 cents on the dollar to stay under a cap. Most of the teams find ways and if they don't they need to trying hard. It sucks! Arizona does boil my blood a bit, but this is how the NHL wants to run.

  13. Gary literally used Tampa as the case study for going from a bankrupt franchise to a stanley cup champion. In Gary's head that is the archetype to rebuild the franchise give it a decade yotes will become a contender soon enough. Lool also I love large markets shit on small market teams when they have no idea what its like being a fan of one.

  14. Great discussion. Players are the victims here. They are bought/ sold/ traded at the whims of these dictator owners.

  15. I think its more of a joke given how awful Arizona is with everything. If they were generating revenue, or had fans, or tried to win games the cap issue wouldnt be an issue. But it all compounds.

  16. You are retarded for thinking they are asking for the taxpayers to pay for the arena. It's funded privately.
They do get tax cuts later, but it generates so much more in tax revenue when it is built.

  17. What's really crazy, is the Coyotes could have built a good team by now, but keep trading players out for third round picks.

  18. Bryan Little, Pavel Datsyuk, Marian Hossa, Chris Pronger, Jacob Voraceck, Shea Weber. Man that would be a damn good team 13 years ago, all they need is to get Kesler, Bishop, and Seabrook and there set, shame they never picked up that Marian Gaborik contract because that'd he another 30 goal scorer to add to an already stacked team.
