Seriously though, he’s a good rebound candidate. A change of attitude and more consistency and he could be a solid grinding power forward.

Nice, hope a change of scenery does him some good. Very frustrating player to watch
good get for the Sabres. At his worst he’s a big guy who skates well. He often pulls up on hits and just bumps into people but he is willing to crash the net and get into scrums. And at his best he is a great cycle player who can screen goalies and score from mid range.
Billy G upsold Buffalo like a used car salesman for a 2nd! Basically recouped from where we picked him and added another 5th.

Absolutely great deal for us, hopefully Big Rig finds his game somewhere else but glad to see that return.
We all knew he was gone after this season but I really wish him well in Buffalo
I’m happy but sad. There is a lot to like about Greenway. Also a bit to dislike. I want everyone to succeed & he was very much apart of this team for a long time. I wish we had won a cup while he was here, but it is time to move on. I hope he kills it in Buffalo.
I gotta say, I don’t hate Greenway or anything but if the Wild ever sent a 2nd round pick to another team for a 3M cap hit producing 7 points in 45 games I would be livid. Insane return for a guy having a very mediocre season.
