Kravtsov had a good shift of effective forechecking, so he’s definitely going to be an elite first liner for years.
Gauthier has a goal and zero assists in his first six games on another team, so he’s a perennial 30 goal scorer who should have replaced Kreider in all situations.
A 25 year old and 23 year old who combined for 39 career points are a loss that the franchise will never recover from.
Weirdly I don’t even dislike these guys and I think they’re both NHL caliber players, but it’s funny to watch year after year of treating them based on the most optimistic assumptions of their potential and most generous and selective reads of their statistics and performances

He is a hockey player, and this is a hockey subreddit. Sure we focus on the Rangers, but I don’t think I saw a rule anywhere that says we can only talk about current Rangers.

Some guys such as Kravtsov and JT Miller were never gonna work out here. We can talk about Rangers draft blunders until we are blue in the face but I’d rather just be happy for guys finding their games.
It’s early but i think it’s fair to criticize Gallant when so many players leave us and look better
