Dubas failed do upgrade in net. He didn’t get rid of Kerfoot huge cap hit useless player really nor did he trade away Holl. If team fails in playoffs because of goalies then he should lose his job

Rangers,Devils,Bolts,Leafs. Two of these teams will be eliminated first round(assuming Devils end up second).This play off format stinks and has to be changed.Any one of these teams could beat whoever winds up winning the Western conference.

Even if they get past the first round, which most seriously doubt..they will mostly likely play Boston, While Dubas has finally done his job at the deadline , i think the fear is they just dont have the balls to win against a true competitive team like Boston. The curse is real people

So many people are so quick to praise what he’s done this year, and I generally agree. That said, if you interpret the moves, you have to believe he has finally lined up to the belief that this team needs to be more physical and tougher to play against. It’s good that he’s finally figured that out, but I don’t understand why it took him 6 straight first round exits to figure it out. There is no question that this team is a top 5 team in talent. However Tampa and Boston are also in that top 5 (carolina and Colorado are the others IMO), so they are extremely likely to be out in 1st or 2nd round again. [Curse is definitely real!]
Dubas has done his job prior to the trade deadline. I think this is thr year the Leafs will take the next step in going to the Stanley Cup Playoffs and head all the way to the Stanley Cup Finals. The Leafs are the beast in the Eastern Conference. Let's go Leafs!

When you listen to this guy answer questions you just know he's going to win cups some day…he's too young and talented not to….with or without the Leafs. Hope they re-sign him!
its either going to make them better, or upset the season long balance they had and lack of chemistry… not to be a downer, rentals have rarely helped this team in the past.

Kyle Dubas deserves a new contract. I think he has done a good job with the Leafs and I think the team will do much better in the playoffs. Go Leafs Go!

Up to the big contracts to be the difference in round 1…Dubas has made fantastic deals to make this team playoff ready. I don’t see dubas not getting extended…I didn’t like his teams in the past…very soft! This team is different…hopefully they can advance and get rolling.
For how young and how much Dubas has learned in the past 4 ish years to adapt his style is admirable. I think he'll be one of the leagues best GMS for years to come. Please lock him up long term.

I hope all you people who say re sign Dubas are saying that when the leafs lose in 1st round because of their goalie play .
I appreciate the fact so little real info gets leaked from the Leaf's side, yet once all said and done, Dubas/Keefe fully explain where they/things are at.
Gotta admit, Dubas is living the dream of many us!
