I've been impressed by Joseph Woll. He has performed well in his climb in the AHL and his NHL callups. He would have been battling for a backup if not a starting position but for his injury. He will be one of the Leafs' playoff stars. MO. Go Leafs Go!

I think schenn should easily bump holl out of the lineup he proved he can bail out Hughes in van and I think he should be paired with rielly now, he’s way more responsible and is way more of a presence out there than Holl is. Rielly Schenn

Mitch could have had 3 or 4 more if Markstrom wasn't so hot, man Marner is starting to open up and drive the net. He looked a bit like McDavid out there let'e hope it continues.
I think Woll is doing well, but I would not suggest he start the playoffs. He's good saving the initial shot but gives away a lot of rebounds. For him to excel, it requires excellence from the defense to clear the puck, which I still don't have faith in. From the time we got Samsonov I was thinking this is our guy. Now we know goalies like Murray and Fleury can have a horrible season, but they always show up for the playoffs, so I would be more interested in Murray (assuming he's healthy).

Woll should get a shot even before the playoff run. He seems calm and makes great saves. The new blue line should clear more bodies out of the way as well.
As a big Leaf fan in the 70's and 80's I really hope they can go on a good run. I Loved the Wregget runs of 85 and 86. He was a wizard.
