  1. This fan base is too fickle . Over react to every single move. There is clearly more of a plan then benning ever had

  2. 2 thoughts:
    1) This management group still believes in JT Miller and think this season is an one off. The pressure of new contract + not having the right coach in place dampened his morale and production.
    2) He didn't need to be traded now. In fact, trading him in the offseason right before his no trade kicks in may yield a better return because other teams will have salary coming off the books and they have a couple of months to finagle the cap.
Point two is more likely, but point one will be thier fall back if a trade doesn't materialize.

  3. Miller has compete, Boesor is a really decent human being, and Garland is great for his size. All character guys worth keeping. Too bad we lost Schenn.

  4. Was the your team comeback and half hazard correction at the end triggering for anyone else that was most see through thing in this presser he’s a puppet

  5. 6:43 What other option? This is super disingenuous. 🤢
Alvin said "I'm not collecting picks to just collect picks. I'm collecting picks to either draft hockey players or trade to get hockey players in here."
In other words. "I'LL TRADE THEM IF I WANT." He's saying they're not JUST for drafting.
Can we stop pretending like there isn't immense pressure on management to avoid a rebuild, and instead just get young players so that we can try to be a playoff team in the next couple years?
We know this. Our fanbase needs to stop acting like they're stupid and don't know this.
We know exactly what they're trying to do.

  6. I left a comment on the Parker's YouTube channel yesterday that it is indeed the owner does not allow the management group to rebulid the team, period.

  7. It seems like the owner is calling the shots. We need new owners. Fans should boycott the games.

  8. I had hope when we got an additional first in the Horvat trade. Finally, the Canucks were going to build through the draft! NOPE That glimmer of hope I had has been crushed. Watch Detroit and Arizona in 5 years. They are doing it right and will be in the top 8 teams in the league. The Canucks? We will be in that dreaded 15-25 area. All because this ownership and management team is impatient. I'm done. After 53 years supporting this clown show I've had enough.

  9. This organization always shits the bed. The owners run a mickey mouse show.

  10. it was marcus pettersson,1st, 2nd and 3rd and he said no lol

plus 4 million cap space, who cares if you get a center back you're tanking anyway what an idiot lol

  11. too hard to trade miller or boeser now, they still can trade miller at the draft. i expect boeser will go in the offseason

  12. Did he lie in his interviews? He said he didn’t receive any offers on miller

  13. Alvin literally said in a press conference there were no offers made for Miller.

  14. Sir, building team not as easy as you thought, long team planning do not mean gambling without limit

  15. Allvin said he had no deal for JT Miller .. your using a non credible twitter account for your drivel

  16. Hey pal, back in January Rutherford said: we have to do major surgery. He went on to say That “major surgery” won’t be a rebuild. So if fans suffer congititave dissonance that's on them…. They are executing their plan now move on ➡

  17. I believe Aquillini's have a major part to do with this that no one seems to be discussing. Trevor Linden was fired because he wanted to rebuild the team with draft picks and ownership said we need to retool on the fly. Fast forward 2022 and it looks like its going into the direction of rebuilding with high draft picks etc and now go into 2023 and its a about face and now were retooling on the fly. I think everyone is baffled by what has happened in the last week because its coming from above management. Management has to take the brunt of ownerships love of thinking they know best. Ever since Aquillini's took out Gagliardi from owning the Canucks and Gagliardi went and purchased Dallas Stars I think Francesco can't handle that Dallas is doing much better than the Canucks and have been a better team for years. If you want to voice your displeasure with the Canucks don't renew your season tickets. At the end its all about the cash and if you hit them where it hurts maybe they start listening to the fans and stop this ever ending retooling on the fly. The Canucks are turning into the laughing stock of the other GM's in the league.

  18. Don't worry Lego, my theory about JT Miller being packaged to Chicago with all their draft picks for first overall might just come to fruition.

Edit: The center we will get in return during the off-season after we trade Miller will be Connor Bedard.

  19. Oh man, sorry, I don't care what terminology they use. They are rebuilding, period. What a joke. When they finally come to their senses and realize that, Vancouver might get somewhere. And PA's comment about collecting draft picks might be the stupidest comment I've ever heard come out of a so called "Professional Hockey Manager's" mouth.

  20. They are focused on the now because they are just concerned about their own jobs! Extremely disappointing!!

  21. I guess I am in the minority. Not every draft pick will turn out beautifully like (the og) Pettersson . Personally, I would take the same approach as Canucks management and re-tool. Just look at Arizona, Detroit, Buffalo and New Jersey how many years they had to suck to finally get better. Seattle and Vegas are proof that you don't need to (amature) draft to get good. I really like the Hronek trade, I much rather have a proven NHLer. If Canucks were to draft a Dman, even in the first round, there is no guarantee. Ex: Olli Juolevi. Even if they were to draft a good one. That Dman most likely won't have any meaningful impact until 4 or 5 years from now. Furthermore, the odds at getting the #1 pick at this point are slim. Even if Canucks were to try to full tank, Chicago, Arizona, Anaheim, Columbus are all ready doing that. Plus, we don't desperately really need another scorer, what this team needs is defense.

  22. I hope it's just a rumor. The fact that a team is willing to take on Miller's long contract already sounded too good to be true, but to have offered draft picks for him with no salary in return? I'd have made this trade in a heartbeat. This would've been a perfect redemption for mistakenly committing Miller long-term instead of Horvat. So who rejected the offer, the management or ownership?

  23. Vancouver team keeps slapping fans in the face and it goes all the way to ownership. Joke of a team couldn't get a free 3rd round pick for 1/4 retained? Miller is your future and that is a fact cause y'all signed him. Rip van

  24. i'm glad they didn't move boeser or miller. they aren't going to rebuild so why dump 2 top 6 forwards? they'll be in cap hell for 1-2 more years. they think mcdonnaugh will be able to play with the big club maybe as soon as next year. hughes telling them he didn't want to be here for a rebuild may very well have something to do with how they are moving forward here.

  25. I really hope Aquilini is meddling with these decisions… Cause I refuse to believe management after management can be so incompetent…

  26. I don’t freaking understand this organization. Is there some sort of rule stating that whichever management team is brought in ; that they must immediately start smoking crack upon arrival in Vancouver? The asset management is beyond atrocious. I have a theory that Aquilini purposely keeps the team shitty and that he secretly makes money by betting against them

  27. At this point, I've hit the end of the road as a Canucks fan. I've watched them since I was a small child and it's honestly shocking how they continue to make the SAME MISTAKES time and time again. So incredibly short-sighted, and there's only one common denominator: Francesco Aquilini. I'll be hanging up the jersey until I see a competent general manager, president, and ownership (and I honestly don't know if that will ever happen)

  28. This is why Canucks will never be cup contenders just cup pretenders…their only job is to make playoffs. Holy cow you have the deepest draft in a decade and canucks could have top class centers and right hand defenseman as many as four picks in top 40, this is just bad asset management….and we can says here we go again!

  29. This is painful dude!!! We could have gotten picks for Miller and save 8 mill a year in cap space and we didn’t do it?!?! Ahhhh!!!
