Yeah was it even confirmed that the Pens offered 2 firsts? I only read that multiple picks were offered but they could’ve been 2 thirds?
just as a side note, i didnt make this meme, just saw it on twitter.
I mean, probably not the word of the GM who said the decision to fire Bruce only came about that morning and they managed to interview multiple candidates, decide on Tochett, and have him conveniently be in Vancouver for a press conference only a few hours later.

Nucks – well we got this on guy named Jimothy, he’s pretty awesome so we want a lot for him

No, it doesn’t really matter what picks they offered – if we had a chance to get out of that contract ***and*** gain assets at the same time, we’re absolute idiots for not doing it.
