  1. I don't know this person very well, I've only seen him as the coach of Minnesota, but since he speaks about his players, how he stands up for them, it's worthy of respect. I wish him to take the cup.

  2. HOW is he or Gallant NOT coaches of the Canucks I love toch but I would have loved either of Gallant or Evason to coach the canucks. Why is it not a thing?

  3. Carry us Kiril and goaltending won't win a cup, expect yet another first round and out. And another middle of the pack draft pick.

  4. Really happy with all the 2 point obviously, but someone needs to step up and help Kirill.

  5. Analytically 'goals saved above expected' is a good stat to look at if your goalies are winning you games. Fleury is ranked 43rd while Gustavsson is 11th. Gus is ahead in all the other stats too, it's just a very clear split between these 2 and Fleury is not stealing wins the way Gus and some other goalies are. With a goalie like Gus in the pipes you can afford to be more offensive minded but Fleury is the reason the Wild had to start being more defensive minded and block shots just to pull out wins. I understand the Wilds attachment to Fleury but he's just not earning the number 1 spot anymore and that's not an emotional response to his play, it's just reality. The beautiful timing here is that Wallstadt should be ready by the time Fleury's contract is finished after next season so it's a smooth transition.
