Thought we all needed something positive after the last few games lmao. Hopefully we see him in GR by the end of the season

Just gotta be patient when he’s 22-23 that’s when he can come in

Just have to be patient. Goalies are a different breed

The Wings better not take him from us too. Keep him here throughout the rest of the year please

There is no way of getting around the fact that this is a super positive development, and, in Yzerman’s words, Cossa is heading in the right direction.

But I do feel I need to tap the breaks a tiny bit.Toledo’s other goalie (Lethemon) has also been similarly on fire, so some of the performance might be attributed to overall better team play.

But still, saves are saves, stats are stats, and Lethemon is 6 years older and likely close to maxed out potential wise. For a big, young, project goalie playing their first ever professional hockey, this is really positive improvement.

I posted about Cossa a few days ago and I’m so glad you posted this, OP. We heard Yzerman mention that he’s trending upward and the proof is in his play and stats. Hard to not get excited about Cossa! If he pans out and becomes anywhere close to a top 10 nhl goalie, we’re going to be perennial contenders again. Let’s keep the Cossa love going!

Throw in another 22 save shutout tonight.
