  1. Leafs doing the same stretch as the Bruins for the 3 games. Bruins held on against the Oilers, played way faster than normal. Next game against the Flames the next day was probably the Bruins worst of the season. They pulled out the win, yes, but they gave everything the night before to beat the Oilers.

  2. Your an official long time Leafs fan when you totally understand how they constantly beat themselves in very creative ways.😂😂

  3. Odd thing to say after a 5-1 loss but it seems like Toronto can't score which is a problem for an offense heavy team. As of after this game Hyman has more goals than Matthews or Marner.

  4. Samsonov made 3 or 4 breakaways saves. 5-2 flattered the leafs!

  5. Toronto needed a top pairing D-man. Instead they got O'Reilly, a solid 3rd line center who can play 2nd line wing & added depth guys who can fill in on 2nd pair, but are basically all 3rd line d-men. Schenn, Gustafsson, & McCabe. So decent deadline moves, but the Bruins added what Toronto needed. Boston added a top pairing d-man in Dmitry Orlov who has 3 goals and 8 points in 4 games with Boston. The B's also added toughless in getting Tyler Bertuzzi and Garnett Hathaway, whom are both built for postseason play. Bertuzzi coming off a 30 goal season last year, and Hathaway being a solid bottom 6 agitator. Are Leafs fans a bit disappointed that the team did not really improve their blue line in terms of talent? Yes they added depth, but not necessarily talent on the blue line. Boston accomplished both.

  6. samsonov allowing 7 and the leafs offense making the oilers defense look like the 90's devils is to blame here… the oilers honestly looked bad… just the leafs decided to take yet another day off

  7. The Oilers has a legit non bumbling defense now, this leafs team can't generate offense against that.

  8. The team makes trades to get better and all Leafs fans blame the new guys being too new? Too funny you Leafs fans.

  9. I'm not even a Leafs fan. I'm a struggling Blackhawks fan. I just like to watch Steve be mad.

  10. If you make it out of the first round 🤓 you'll never beat Boston, you've sold your future to get out of the first round & you'll beat yourself as always 🤓

  11. You have to take the human factor into account, especially for east to west travel. To top it off, the new guys in the roster who have already travelled from their previous teams city, and really haven’t had the time to get the chemistry going. I’m really trying to stay positive here, can you tell? 😂

  12. Very unlikely, but WOULD the Leafs win four out of seven against Connor McDavid?

  13. Samsonov even had some nice ones that could have gone in. Easily could have been 10-2 when half the building gave the team that walked their favourite money

  14. I mean the leafs have had the oilers number the past 5 years. Didn't Toronto beat them 4-1 last year in Edmonton? I guess it was just a matter of time before Edmonton beat them

  15. When asked about the fight Holl said “right or wrong, sometimes that’s the reaction and you just have to do it”

He doesn’t like fighting. You could tell from the fight. He doesn’t believe in it. And he doesn’t like hitting hard. The way he looked down at Yamamoto was almost like he was asking if Yamamoto was ok, like when a big dog steps on a little dog by mistake. Which I honestly respect a lot he probably just doesn’t want to give someone a concussion, it’s just not the best trait for NHL defensemen to have

    He’s a nice guy

  16. “It’s Vancouver… you should win that game.” 🫠 yikes. Leafs lost.
