  1. Miracle seasons are rare. To finish the one they are having, the Bruins obviously need to run the table in the playoffs. Somehting tells me when it is going your way to the degree it has been for the Bruins is that something is apt to go wrong. Could it be that the hockey gods are toying with the Bruins and their fans? There is a feeling in my bones that the both the Bruins and Rangers are in for some big disappointment in the playoffs this season. It is as if the hockey gods are whispering and laughing in low tones right now and before the playoffs get too far in will be screaming and cackling loudly.

  2. And to think, Cassidy has been holding this core back for all these years

  3. I know I am gonna get in trouble saying this but it just looks to "good" to be a Stanley Cup contender. Everything is just going to "perfect."
I congratulate the Bruins for having such an "unbelievable" regular season! And personally, I really don't know who could beat them???

But Playoffs are playoffs!!! And things can turn quickly ugly very fast.

Just too many teams out in the East right now that will make a run at it. And are experiencing by learning by losing to be ready for the playoffs. (Rangers, Lightning, Leafs, Hurricanes etc.) And I believe they haven't showed all of their jokers yet.

  4. Life long Bruins fan since the 70’s the only one that can beat the Bruins is the Bruins. Same as any other president trophy winner. They don’t finish well.

  5. Go Bs Go
They can be dead tiered n still beat yer ass lots of talent n there always looking for the play team play team Goal …No cherry pickers and No point hogs ! Almost Perfection..

  6. Bruins fan since 1967. Lotta heartbreaks between then and now. The goal now in the last dozen or so games: GET 100% HEALTHY adn don't peak too soon.

  7. As Red Wings fan I'm really sad to see Bertuzzi go, but I'm gad he got traded to the Bruins. He'll fit in perfectly. Would love to see Boston win it all this year.

  8. Wings fan.. but i know 63 should be retired when brad decides Bergeron would be only good with out this guy. I couldn't imagine a Brad, bertuzzi, Bergeron line. That would be BBBad for any goalkeeper.

  9. With these physical acquisitions, I am so excited for playoff hockey , where the physicality Ramps up tremendously

  10. No they shouldn't. I bring down the curse on all the teams I support. How Michigan fluked into two titles, I have no clue. College hoops not since 2011. Before 2021 college football was 2003. NHL hasn't happened since I started in 2011. The rest of the sports I don't care about.

  11. I've been watching the Bruins for 52 years. I feel like I'm dreaming all of this…. I've got tickets for the March 22st and 23rd games. Just thinking about it makes my heart flutter. ❤️

  12. I am die hard bruins s fan for 52 years. Blest deadline I have ever seen. Now win cup and resign all if can but bertuzzi and oleva a must.

  13. Cups aren't won in the regular season. Ask the TB Lightning how the 2018/19 season worked out.

  14. Just watch Brad Marchand. He is one the best fore checkers you’ll. He’s shifty and scrappy and just hunts the puck. Its awful to play against. I think Tyler Bertuzzi is a better fit on the line with Coyle and Frederic than Hall. Also Foligno is projected to come back to add more grit on the 4th line.

  15. They do. Every opposing coach talks about how great the B's are during in-game interviews. It's no secret.

  16. Videos like these make them ripe for upset and the Sens in the first round would be a mess. Sens are the only team with a winning record against the Bruins and those young guns led by Brady are not intimidated. They turn that series into a war and even if Boston does win they do not move on unscathed.

  17. The Habs only had 8 losses in the 70's so how can you say going 16 and 6 will set a record??

  18. 11.25 AAV for a guy on pace to score 60 and just entering the prime years of his career is incredible value. Given the cap is expected to continue to go up, yes only 1mm next year but by all accounts 3-4mm the following season – I think Sweeney has put a solid core in place moving forward. Perhaps a bridge deal for guys like frederic, bertuzzi, and orlov will be required if they want to stay but it's tough not see this team loaded into the coming years as well

  19. I'm a Red Wings fan who has no strong feelings either way for the Bruins, but my main concern for this year's playoffs is denying Colorado the repeat, and to that end I will be rooting for Boston in the East (unless they are playing in the first round against Detroit, of course). If Colorado gets through the West, then I agree that Boston is clearly the most capable Eastern team to stop them in the finals.

PS for Boston fans: you are absolutely going to love Bertuzzi. He's having an off year with missing time for injuries, but you will be hard pressed to find a harder worker or a better attitude.
