  1. I've said it before Gil, and I'll say it again.. Lambert's job is not in jeopardy this season… he has, as you've said, grown.. and achieved more than I could have expected with the injuries and circumstances of this year. It was a transition from the start and we are still in a playoff position!!!

  2. Stoked on the win. We needed it and we got it. Horvats first breakaway was disappointing. Horvats 2nd breakaway was a bad reminder that we still don’t have a player that can convert those opportunities into goals. It’s beyond frustrating.

  3. I just like to say ESPN is awful. It's like they hate hockey. Dead air throughout the game. Like it was their first day on the job. Now the game. Important win. Not only for standings but to set the pace for the rest of the year. Even if they don't win the cup, we as fans can be proud of them coming together.

  4. Great show, Gil! Isles showed some solid defensive play. I'd like to hear your opinion on the embarrassing way the telecast crew for ESPN+ represented themselves during last night's game. They repeatedly took shots at the Isles which I thought was totally unprofessional. GO ISLES!

  5. Casey was unbelievable last night. As much as we bash Bailey, the dude always seems to score in big games. Horvat could have had 2 goals. Hopefully when Barzy comes back the power play can produce.

  6. I know this may be a little sour grapes type speak when the Isles are trying so hard and yeilding results but….. Why couldn't this have been the way they approached all games , all year?!! Peaking into the playoffs is always a good thing but you can't ever make me believe where we are and how we are playing is a strategy or tactic. We are in desperation mode. They are playing with controled and focused desperation to good effect so far latley but we shouldnt have to be here like this in the first place. recent past seasons have indicated that we get to the playoffs with physical play all season (FAIL), have at least one serious winning streak (FAIL), unwavering defensive structure (SO/SO), strong PK (PASS), better than abysmal PP (FAIL), captialize on gifted opportunities (FAIL), sustained fore checking(SO/SO), and some puck luck (the HOCKEY GODs hate us in this dept). We are not a team with any elite scoring talent. Brock has been good but is not elite. On a good note it is good to see the team rally under pressure but I wish they had and shown the same will and desire all season. The game was a great gutsy win when it is needed. They have to keep this mind set of winning games in essence are 4 point games, if not win out altogether. Maybe their sheer will can be the difference over the other teams crawling up their coat sleeves to be in the playoff pciture. I hope so. Great show Gil.
