  1. Still think it would've been nonsensical to make the horvat trade then trade Miller for picks, unless they didn't think horvat was worth what he wanted

  2. These media guys spew so much garbage that I really dont believe much they say unless it actually happens. ESPECIALLY when it comes to the canucks. We're a 1 sport city. The media need to beat the dead horse and along with that, comes the rumors they talk about to a point where everyone thinks its actually true. Then, when it doesnt happen or just simply wasnt true, they never hold themselves accountable for reporting nonsense. Demko was a perfect example. Teams may have had interest, sure. But doesnt mean the team was shopping him.

  3. I can't see why A Team With No More Real Veterans That Can Score Would Try & Give Up The Only One That They Have Left (Vancouver) or why A Team That Has So Many Veterans With Cap Problems Want To Acquire Another One/Veteran With Cap Problems (Pittsburgh). Therefore, so, we are talking about this Why? LOL

  4. i think the pens wanted to steal him and alvin wasn't having it. they aren't going to rebuild so i'm glad he's still in vancouver.

  5. Miller is a good player. You just can't give him away.

  6. pens nucks just chatting scinerios with each other and knew it wouldnt work cuz pens dont have a center or d studs so why offer The way miller playin lately he just might be stickin around & may consider brock garland oel myers ?

  7. If you ask me Penguines were waiting for Canucks to say what they were willing to accept as a fleecing I mean trade for Miller

  8. That’s not how it works!😊 we are still keeping JT Miller forever we’re not getting Connor Bedard. I think we catch St. Louis blues in the standings.! 😂

  9. Didn’t say ‘official’ offer, he said ‘credible’ offer. There’s a world of difference and Mgt can spin the word any way they want. If this ‘reporter’ doesn’t have a cited source, then it’s just gossip, not journalism. Crank.

  10. Why is everyone so eager to move Miller? Is Tampa eager to move Stamkos, Rangers eager to move Zibanijad…? Miller is a player that ever team wants, stone cold sniper. Enough already. You guys sound like pre-teens gossiping about the popular kids in class.

  11. Need to moved Miller off season Defense of Game is issued lazy on the last Game 50 points players entered his prime 30s

  12. They ran out of time, sounded like maybe Canucks get Bennett and a 1st. Just to difficult to appease before deadline. It’s coming, so long as Hextall doesn’t get fired.

  13. Only Chit Chat. Not serious until the opposition make an offer. Penguins went after Granlund because he was much cheaper than Miller. Not surprising.

  14. Honestly I don’t care if they trade Miller cause I rather have him at 8m than Huby at 10m+ if ya look at that aspect he’s a steal lol and he does get fired up like every game is a playoff and when he drops the gloves he taking names hahahahah

  15. What you are overlooking is Alvin and Chickmonks may have offered the Penns, Miller for a first and a couple of specific prospects that obviously was not accepted. It seem from the rumors that they needed a bona fide second line center, a first , and prospect. Obviously that didn't happen. It just makes no sense to get rid of Miller unless they can get a second line center that has term, that is in the 25 year old range. It took Canucks 18 months to get their top two right side d-man so a high quality center may be just as hard to get. They still have a ton of money to move before next season so they had better get busy on that. They probably have to move at least 6 million in cap space to fill the roster to their liking with 8 roster spots unaccounted for, for next season and being nearly at the cap right now. I expect they will try to make some more moves around draft day. Maybe our first round pick gets traded, Yikes. More Trader Jim deals coming for sure.

  16. Exactly like you said, they’re looking for a young centre but don’t want to tank when there’s two of the best centre prospects we’ve seen ever. Even will smith is an excellent centre option at around 5th or 6th pick but we won’t get close to any of them because we’re gonna get enough points to take us out the top 10. I don’t understand the logic at all

  17. It's just a damn cop out to say "we didn't recieve a FORMAL offer". DUH, I wonder why?
Maybe cause the Canucks made it clear there was no point…

  18. It doesn't make sense because the talks were never serious. Seravalli reporting on idle chatter as if it's real. It's like you and your buddy debating on whether you would give your left arm for a date with Gigi Haddad and then having an in-depth analysis about the conversation about it after. Yeah I can't see the logic either.

  19. Miller is a good center of 60 -80 points per season
He can improve under this new coaching staff ..

  20. we arent giving him away wed need a young center and a first and a decent prospect

  21. trade miller for 1st younger center and prospects buyout oel and trade myers to coyotes would free up 19mill in cap soo petey hronek resigned will be easily done
