I was pretty pissed about it lately. Then I looked during this 2 wins in the last 11 run and couldn't help but notice how many teams Jets have faced have actually been really hot. Minnesota is 2nd in that time. LA, Colorado and NYI are 4th, 5th and 6th. Seattle, their win before the drought is 7th, NJ and EDM are 12th and 15th so doing pretty well, even Columbus is 17th despite being ass most of the season. It's just the SJ loss that stings.
Aside from Boston, Carolina and LA most of the teams are in the bottom half lately. So for all we know they turn it around because the teams they're facing just aren't as hot anymore.
The Wild found a way to hold back big names off the score sheet since theirs aren't going on it either. I like the wins but I don't see individuals excelling outside of Kaprizov. We have our costliest Defensive pair Dumba and GOAL-A-COUGHSKY that pretty much handed you the two goals tonite…just a fact! Zuccarello won't even shoot the puck, Matt Boldy has a thing about shooting at the chest protector of the goaltender or well over the goal! They pass terribly and their powerplay is in the pursuit of trying to set up the pretty goal when they don't have the players to pull it off! The Jets were off last night, the Wild played last nite, had to travel, start an hour earlier and you still lost. I don't see a run for you…sorry!
Winnipeg did the exact same thing to the Rangers a few weeks ago.

Being from saskatchewan we only really have three teams to cheer for Edmonton (me) Calgary, or Winnipeg. Winnipeg is the smallest market so its natural for us stubble jumpers to cheer for them. But yeah the window is open for so long. Incidently I believe its Edmonton's time lets go for it boys

What we are seeing now is what we expected to see at the beginning of the year. With no major changes over the summer, no one expected the Jets to be playoff contenders. When they started winning at the start of the year it was a bit of a shocker. Now they seeem to have levelled off about where they deserve to be.
Blaming Helly for those goals is a little ridiculous. I can see maybe one, but the others shouldnt come down on him when they're very obviously terrible defensive breakdowns.
Blow up the Jets and start over (especially Chevy)- totally pathetic – don't know how any of their supposed top players can sleep at night and cash a pay cheque.

Lots of high end prospects this year and next. And goalies if did move scheifele/hellebuyck/Dubois ect we would get a haul. Maybe split shift between 2 FA goalies like varlamov, Andersen, Bernier, Brossoit, Jones, Raanta, Halak, Hill, Greiss,vejmelka,until goalie drafted develops. Calgary is in same boat core over 30. Had chances didn't get it done.

So tired of watching this damned team. Do fantastic for the first 2/3 of the season. Get our hopes up. Do absolutely nothing at the trade deadline. Shit the bed. Maybe stumble into the playoffs and get blown out in the first round. Repeat. Year after year. I don't understand how you can be so good for 50 games through injury and long road trips, get all their stars back and then just suck. I hope they don't make the playoffs. That way I can move on quicker and forget about this season. And maybe, just maybe that may force some real meaningful change.

The Jets have been absolute counterfeit. There was no way they were going to sustain their start to the season with largely the same lineup as the garbage team they had last year. This team is in trouble if they think the Bowness Bounce was a sign of things to come. Old core is done.
