When Leaf players – in the $6 to 8 Million skill level pay grade like Willy & Mitch play very well – they are only earning their pay and not really deserving of a big pay raises – without playoff successes. Great to see Leafs enjoying their usual regular season successes again this year. That is nothing to take for granted.
nylander is an amazing player, the only comparison is honestly connor mcdavid (in their style of play, mcdavid is far and away the better player lol), i truly hope the leafs can get an extension for him
