Anders Lee a marqué pour les Islanders en supériorité numérique et a pris les devants 1-0 cinq minutes après le début de la période. Jake Guentzel égalise le score avec une passe décisive de Marcus Pettersson. Il s’agit du 100e point de Pettersson dans la LNH. Avec 1:36 à faire en 1ère période, Jason Zucker trouve le fond du filet et la période se termine 2-1, Penguins. Josh Archibald a prolongé l’avance des Penguins en 2e période et la deuxième période se termine 3-1. En 3e période, Hudson Fasching a marqué pour les Islanders avec 5:29 à faire au match. Peu de temps après, Anders Lee marque pour égaliser le match à 3-3, et le match passe en prolongation. En prolongation, Brock Nelson a marqué pour les Islanders et ils l’ont emporté 4-3. Sucky loss against a team we needed a win against. Good on Zucker for his 7 in 6 and Guentzel for opening up the scoring. When our team is able to play a full good 60 minute game I guarantee some big wins will unveil to us in the future. Let's put this one away and take down Philadelphia in the battle of Pennsylvania.

It's funny how the "fans" continue to put the blame on Jarry lmao. There was nothing he could on the third goal, and it's our offenses fault during that third period. They took 1-2 penalties, and couldn't sustain any pressure that entire 3rd period. If they can't do that, you're bound to lose. Your defense can't spend 75% of the time in their defensive zone.
So thankful that 'the core' is intact for years to come.
