I've watched their last two games on hnc vs the Wild and the Av's and i must say i was very dissapointed by their performance. No passion, no emotions no urgency to win. There's a serious lack of leadership in this lockeroom.

I'll be honest. No coach will help this team. Huberdeau peaked, Kadri peaked, and Markstrom peaked. Expect no resurgence from them because they are too old for it. Kadri, Huby, Marky, and Coleman will kill this team because of their contracts. I fully predict the Flames will be relocated in a few years time. Whats crazy is Arizona will be playing in a community rink while Flames are the ones relocating.

This was probably Kadri's fault, but Hanifin might be the dumbest player in the league. Easily the worst rush defender I've seen on the flames, unless you count Nick Grossman's three games.
The Flames should've had a much better season with Kadri and Huberdeau. I got to look at the coach who isn't having any success with his system and we all know that the Flames coach will not change his ways. He's too old.

There was a shift in the third period where the flames had the puck in the Ozone the entire time but didn't get one quality chance. Instead they took about 7 or 8 full wind-up slaphshots from horrible positions that were either deflected or missed the net, except for the last one which was an easy save for Gibson.
One guy sometimes can’t change the outcome, but one guy can definitely change the locker room and the mentality. The Flames look a lot different without Tkatchuk.. as an Oilers fan, I hope the flames can get back to being that competitive team they once were. More battle of Alberta’s lol

Worst PDO in the NHL on one of the best possession teams. Both save percentage and shooting percentage are bottom 5 in the league whereas their shot attempts are second only to Carolina. It's not a systems thing, it's a player personnel thing. Goalies suck, forwards can't generate offense. Usually poor finishing is due to heavy use of low danger shots but the Flames are still middle of the pack in high danger offense generation. Consequently, they're top five in mitigating high danger shots against but are met with bottom 5 goaltending. It's basically Markstrom and Vladar screwing things up. Also would be interesting to see if the Flames in zone defense is having trouble with backdoor/royal road plays, is allowing too many odd man rush chances, break aways, etc.

Sutter needs to sit his slow old "buddies" (like Lucic and Ritchie) and give the upcoming speedy young players (like Dewar) a chance to play.

Who actually thinks this is a Sutter effect? I agree they need to be crushing teams like Anaheim. But when will the coaches figure out that using the net as a blinded dart player & spaying & praying doesn't get you true results with this team we have now. Hubys lack of adjustment I believe is how he is being utilized – idk am I wrong?! Pls be kind
