Faits saillants prolongés des Rangers de New York aux Sabres de Buffalo

  1. Great win for the Rangers, but more importantly…..they did exactly what they needed to do. They didn't let them get cheesy shots or odd man rushes. That is what has killed them these last 11 games heading into today. So this was definitely way better even though it was the Sabres.

  2. How can announcer Dan Dunleavy sound so down when the Rangers score the overtime winning goal on MSG Network? Oh, he is the voice of the Sabres on MSG Buffalo.

  3. So all Rangers powerplays? Much better defensive effort by the Sabres, looked like a great game. One unlucky bounce or it would've been 1 nil Sabres.

  4. Sabres had better chances but NYR goaltending showed up strong (not trying to spell his name). Unlucky for us the only regulation goal NYR got was off a lucky skate deflection.

  5. The Sabres continue to be a mystery. They play a bonafide Cup contender and take them to overtime, but have only won 4 of their last 10 overall. Young teams can be very mercurial.

  6. Good win by the refs tonight really cool how they didnt show the goal that was called offsides for the sabers

  7. I love my RANGERS! But. They did not earn this win, except for the fact Shesterkin was exceptional. In the first 7 minutes they controlled possession and flow of the game, afterwards RANGERS looked out of synch and could not get into flow for two periods. Kane's lucky goal kept them alive and gave them the overtime chance. 3 on 3 overtime was the only brilliance they showed leading to penalty and win. If they want to be champs, they have to play better 5 on 5 and not be sloppy in their zone, and especially at HOME (MSG)!
