The former presidents trophy team failing to win 4 in a row all year challenge = impossible. Team has been monumentally disappointing in critical moments all season. I get that we can’t win every game but when you’re on the losing side 28/30 seasons it’s just hard to be content with getting the 1 point when you out shoot your opponent double and your goalie is making 10 mil a season

Winnipeg was the first team I saw eight years ago (tomorrow!). Only Barkov, Ekblad, Lowry, Wheeler, and Scheifele are still with their teams from that game. It’s crazy to think just how much the rosters change over time.
We got help today. Isles + OTT lost + 1 point after that blatant refball is worth.
3/4 on a B2B is fine considering the other teams that lost/are losing tonight. 4 straight sure would’ve been nice but we looked pretty solid tonight overal
Frustrating that we loss after coming from behind but I’m ok with the 1 point. We weren’t gonna win 15 or so in a row and getting a point is better than nothing at all. Just regroup for Thursday and come out swinging
My thoughts on this game:
Duclair has been getting some phenomenal chances and the goalies have been absolutely robbing him. Having him back has noticeably helped the Team. Real soon he is going to start getting some breaks and tally multiple goals in a game.
I’ll give Bob a break on this game. He might have been a bit tired to start this one. He’s been playing basically every game and this was a back-to-backer. He made many excellent saves after the 1st period. The Cats essentially only have 1 real goalie right now.
The energy the Cats have been displaying on this home stand is reminiscent of last year. Finally. I think they’ll sneak in but it’s going to be close the whole way.
