Sad duck.
Giving up 3 PP goals is not a recipe for success. Dallas is a very good team. Hope these games help us find another gear for playoffs.
Not-so-special teams killing us this year.
Played flat and completely bullied the whole time. Hell bring up Driedger, can’t possibly be worse
Ultimate first world problems: I missed the Ducks game, so I haven’t seen a home win since Feb 18th
Trash. But hey, a road trip!
Anyone but Dallas in the first round please.
Lost at every phase of the game to a playoff team. If we don’t tighten things up and be consistent then we’ll be looking at an early round exit, if we even make the playoffs.
I miss Burky
That was painful to watch. The lack of defense is astounding, and the energy on the face off after we score is non existent. We have too many defensive liabilities on this team.
The good: Vince Dunn
The bad: the power play
The ugly: the penalty kill
Let’s hope we don’t draw the Stars in the first round.
[2.26 xGA for Jones tonight..we had a lot of problems and Dallas is an elite team but man oh man just league average tending please!](https://hockeystatcards.com/single-game-card/1064)
Win against SJ. That’s all.
Oh no we suck again!
All jokes aside, not as bad as the Sharks game.
I like it more when we score 5
Holy hell I hope we carry on our road winning ways by the time we hit Rogers Arena again, I don’t think I can stand to be an away fan and lose to the *Canucks*.
Well, at least I…*still* don’t live in Texas… 😒

My five year old who just finished his ice skating lessons plays better defense.
Obviously disappointed at a loss today….but losing to clearly better team feel less worse. This was a good reminder of how breadth is great when everyone stays out of the box. Unfortunately playoffs tend not to be decided on 5-on-5, but with star power on special teams.
Anyway, I am so happy with where we are on year 2. If we make playoffs, that’s nice but I am not super-disappointed if it does not happen. The future looks great. Let’s prioritize signing Dunn. I think he is our best player, he has the awareness of great defender and hunger of a great forward. Matty also has a great year, but full NHL season is grueling for a rookie (and that’s what he still is). It will only be uphill from here!
