Shhhh, don’t post these things until Danny Briere gets a chance to trade him at the draft to a team that can’t tell the difference between being a good defenseman and playing a bunch of minutes.

  2. Icecube3343

Hmm I see an x in front of one of those stats. Didn’t you get the Reddit memo that advance stats bad?

  3. Anthemz

I was sooo excited for Provorov to develop into a #1 defenseman for us…. dunno what’s going on with him.

  4. Snips_Tano

Given the shitty defense he’s playing on, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him rebound on a good team.

Its hilarious how so many fans still try to claim hes a good #2. Bruh he hasnt played close to a top pair level in 3 yrs.

If he doesnt have a great partner who can drive the pair for him he plays like a limited #4/5D who just sits back blocking shots.

Hopefully we can find some buffoon GM who overvalues his early career rep and big minutes.

Either way he needs to be gone. York and Sanheim (whether we like it or not) are the future of the left side of the defense.

I’d take a 1st and another Tippet-type guy for Provolone.

  7. ProfessorDerp22

I’d love to see these player cards for the whole team.

Let’s move him for value while we can still get it. His stock isn’t going up on this team in the next 2 years.

Sure he might rebound amazingly somewhere else, but he’s sure as shit not having that rebound on the Flyers.

Would be nice to have the percentile for his salary as well. But I am 100% on bored with trading him if we can get a 1st and a top prospect. Would move on from Provorov long before I would from Hart.

  10. FlyorDieJM

Yeah those charts in terms of salary cannot be taken seriously, but yeah Provorov can go, for his sake and ours. He’s just not showing the promise that he has before and with 3 straight nothing burger seasons, he can go and shine elsewhere.

Does he actually look that bad out there? I’ve probably watched less than three games combined worth of hockey all season. My dad’s been watching still, and he tells me he’s been fine for what’s been asked of him.

He hasn’t developed into what I thought he would. I think he’s still a top pair guy with another top pair defenseman. He only had Niskanen for a couple years and was great with him. Other than that, he’s been playing with a bunch of 3rd pairing defenders. He plays against every top line in the league with a bunch of shitty defenders next to him and everyone expects him to be an offensive threat. He will be great if moved with a good partner.

Ivan should have been traded instead of Ghost when all that shit went down. He would have actually gotten trade value back in return as opposed to giving up assets to dump the contract of a player who had been injured and would have freed up more cap room.

  14. DesignerPlant9748

It should have been a huge red flag to everyone in the organization when Ivan regressed horribly after the Niskanen retirement. That should have been enough to show the FO he wasn’t as good as they had thought he was.

Provorov is An average dman getting paid like a borderline all-star. Someone once told me the Flyers should trade Voracek for a bag of pucks. I didn’t agree. But, Provy I would trade for a bag of pucks. If someone offers a 1st or 2nd rd pick in this Draft , I’d party!

  16. PwillyAlldilly

It’s either keep him or Sanheim as our overpaid 2nd line at best defensemen one of them gotta go and idk if anyone is dumb enough to Sanheim.

  17. pwnstick

wow man u should be a pro coach or GM with all this data and insight you have.
