Grand fan de Panarin ici, mais j’ai décidé de regarder ses revirements de carrière et sans surprise, il est sur le point de briser son sommet de carrière.

Not to mention he forgot that he was really good at scoring the last few years

  2. DJZbad93

I mean that happens when you’re the puck carrier a lot. Just look at the NBA leaders in turnovers – it’s a lot of the best PGs since they always have the ball.

  3. Jakeep16

And majority of actual turnovers dont even count for statistics. The actual number for every player is higher than shown

  4. ItsHeadbangerG

I love the Breadman, but this aspect of his game, on top of the forced passes and low shooting drives me up a wall.

  5. DosesWithMimosas69

    95 points in 69 games… 😳

  6. dumberthenhelooks

He seems to be both trying to do too much and also not doing enough. He’s still an elite playmaker with an elite shot putting up elite numbers, but the last two weeks have been pretty bad for what we’ve come to expect. Everyone is trying too hard to fit in instead of doing what they do best

  7. Never_Forget_94

Also the fact that he’s – for the first time in his career is worrisome. I know plus minus is a garbage stat but it’s still useful when compared like this.

  8. StandardBreadfruit47

Fuck it imma say it. He is not worth the Connor McDavid amount we’re paying him. 8mil and put Trouba’s at 2 while we’re at it

Shhh you are gonna get down-voted into oblivion because you are providing facts on here. Dude is a turnover machine and his reckless style is a liability come playoff time when you need solid, reliable, hockey plays…… not blind backhand passes off the wall.

Gonna be a lot of people in their feelings you showed these stats ……

  10. QuickRelease10

He produces points because of his talent, but he has not played well at all.

  11. By far his worst +/- as well. What a surprise.

  12. FoghornLeghorn99

Yeah it’s been blatantly obvious for over a year now.

He’s admitted he’s not happy with his game twice in the past year.

There’s just some people living in denial, because they can point to his points column and say, WhAT dO YoU waNT fROm HiM?!

Hope he plays better, but at this point I don’t know, it’s been a full season since the playoffs practically and I saw a good 5 game window and that’s it.

  13. FinnsterBaby

This may be sacrilege but can we please look to jettison Panarin after this season? He’s a turnover machine, getting slower, brings no physicality, can’t play anything close to a North-South game and has shown an inability to play within a system regardless of his line mates or coach. Getting rid of his cap hit would allow us to keep all of the kids and possibly keep one of Tarasenko or Kane while moving Kakko or Laffy up into the top 6

And yet I get downvotes when suggest trading him in the off-season if he does not improve

  15. ice_nyne

I hate to say it, but I think the dude has entered the “I’m getting paid either way” phase of his career.

  16. Lucifers_Goldfish

Don La Greca had a good take on this today on “Game Misconduct”. The NHL and players have been going for fancier plays resulting in more turnovers. Every team is guilty of this as some point or another. I would argue that it’s a bit more pronounced with us lately and I’m glad to see Bread shooting a bit more instead of E-W passes constantly.

  17. Main_Paramedic_2822

Wow -3 during a span the team is +31.

  18. RedLight1981

He needs to be moved this off-season. I hope Drury can make it happen

  19. chickichuglette

I really think having Kane is magnifying the negatives of bread’s play. Having two guys that play that style can be frustrating to watch when it’s not clicking.

  20. cvgripps

I love Bread! Oddly enough, I fell in love thanks to him

  21. pickles_312

This is a really hot take, but Kreider is giving better value for his contract this year than Panarin is.

  22. Instead of blind passes…he should just throw it in goal

  23. ProMisanthrope

Yea man, idk how many times I can watch him sauce a pass tape to tape…into the defenders stick

  24. randomusername11010

Pretty concerning considering his play dropped off more in the playoffs last year
