Would Yzerman be a better GM if the Red Wings were able to draft Jack Hughes and Tim Stutzle? They've had bad lottery luck which has severly hurt this rebuild. So it's not just a case of Yzerman finishing his job. The Red Wings and Yzerman need some luck or this rebuild will not succeed.

Last time Luff was called up he stated in a interview that he was there "to take someone's job". Not something a team first would ever say. Getting a puck to the face and breaking an arm looked like charma.
