Glad we can finally stop talking about this. It was getting a little weird..
This is much ado about nothing. The man (I can’t believe I’m calling him a man) has three kids, one just a newborn, and a wife in need of support.
Hockey would be the last thing on my mind. Schenn likely appreciates, if not grateful, that the organization told him to go enjoy life and come back when things were settled at home.
If the entire thing showed us anything, it’s that the Leafs prioritize their players happiness and comfort.
I’ll wait to see what Rosehill says before I believe anything.
