Screw tanking. I enjoy watching Boston lose. Also, being one of the worst teams in the league and beating the runaway best team in the league is fun.

… though don’t get too good guys. At least keep the first overall pick within striking distance

Also, fan of Taylor Raddysh. Glad to see him get himself a hatty

  2. Three_Froggy_Problem

You know what? Tank shmank. I want Bedard as much as the next guy, but that was so satisfying and you can see how excited the team is too.

Richardson is doing some amazing work with what he’s been given. It bodes well for his future as an NHL coach. I hope he sticks around for a while.

  3. Say what you want about the talent on this team, but there’s no shortage of guts and effort.

  4. IllDisaster2262

I hope we play like this next season

  5. ShadowEuphoria

Even with Chris Vosters on the call, it was finally a Hawks game I enjoyed!

  6. dishonourableprince

Players and Coaches around the league need to stop taking this Hawks roster lightly. They’re clearly a well coached and organized team that plays hard and competes through 60 minutes of play.

On paper this team shouldn’t even be able to record a goal and should be letting in 5 on a regular basis yet every game is close.

  7. CapnTwiggy

The hockey gods will reward us for not obviously tanking. This was the win that secures us the #1 pick.

  8. Agent_Hero

9 points combined tonight for the three players involved in the Hagel trade.

  9. Bobgoblin

I hope Bruins get btfo in the first round, what a terrible effort from them (same with every team Hawks have played since the TDL for that matter).

And somehow now every game left on the schedule looks winnable other than Nashville and Minny, at this current rate Hawks will be welcoming Zach Benson come draft day. Not ideal, but at least games are fun again.

  10. DChan1987

Why am I unhappy? Oh, yeah. Good bye, generational talent and another potential dynasty down the road.

  11. Capable-Average4429

Yo, Sandman. Can we get “Short Sighted Idiot” flair?

  12. pokisan

well you can pretty much count the hawks out of the 25% sweeps.

    lmao. enjoy your odds.

  13. AcousticArmor

So satisfying to see the Hawks beat the Bruins. Glad I tuned in to watch this one tonight. Raddysh is looking like a solid future contributor which is exciting.

  14. ruppy99

I told you all it wasn’t too late for a Stanley Cup run

  15. tracytirade

Am I reading this correctly? Lol go hawks

  16. Agent_Hero

Go tell r/NHL they missed out on some Bruins-killers on the cheap at the trade deadline.

  17. radiotsar

For those calling for an intentional tank, suppose they did and they lost games through poor play, with every player contributing to the fall. We end up with the number one pick. Now evaluation of the players rolls around – how can you adequately judge your players? Were they really good at following orders to tank, or just really bad players? Who do you keep, and who do you jettison?

  18. PP_Horses

Would be great if we can stop socially distancing ourselves from Columbus and San Jose.

We didn’t endure this shit ass season to pick 5th

  19. Themakerofbeer

I’ve been in Chicago for 5 weeks. I’ve been to two games and I’ve seen two hat tricks. I’m out of hats! First Kane and now Raddysh.

  20. lindberghbaby

What a fun game to watch. Love it

  21. SuperCAD

O-VER-RA-TED! Loved hearing the fans chant that. So glad I went to this one instead of selling the tickets. The Hawks pestered the shit out of the Bruins all game and it was awesome to watch.

  22. Capable-Average4429

Disagree with me all you want, downvote away, but I will not entertain hot takes from people with “77” flairs.

  23. cam_barker_4_norris

You’ve gotta be fucking kidding me

  24. cam_barker_4_norris

Who needs bedard when you have raddysh?

  25. The hawks beat the #1 team and my baby boy was born if during the first period.

I think this has been a pretty good night

  26. TheKevinShow

A team from Boston losing: you love to see it.

  27. FAFOeris

WHAT A GAME!!! Fans chanting OVERRATED was just sublime

  28. ModsCantHandleMe

Dude. This winning needs to stop.

  29. randyrandomagnum
