Johnny Hockey says “fuck your tank”

  2. jmandell42

Well, at least we minimized the damage first? And Johnny is pretty good at this ol hockey thing

  3. ddottay

Well, yes, this hurts the tank a bit.

On the other hand, man what a special player Gaudreau is. Absolutely amazing to watch him play for this team.

  4. casperthegoth

Ok. Did we really pull off a win AND maintained control of the tank by playing a relatively entertaining game that went to OT?

  5. nateorz

I mean…Gaudreau had 5 points, there’s nothing you can do about that. Cushion is still 2 points, which is fine given we were up 5-3. I’ll take winning like that, but both teams looked terrible.

  6. RonTugMyNuts

Had a two goal lead in the third and only came out with a net gain of one point, I’ll take it.

  7. hockey_transgirl

Extremely entertaining game. And, say what you want about the glow puck, but it did help my boyfriend that doesn’t watch hockey follow the play

  8. Articmnokey

At least we’ve still got a 2 point cushion? Ducks is really really a must lose now

  9. evil_caveman

Guys, chill the fuck out. We’re still in last place, and it was a good game

  10. gottapoop0822

I actually feel bad for the Sharks goalie there holy fuck.

Like man, that was next level tanking. 2 on 0 breakaway with Johnny Hockey and Laine charging in?

And you actually make the first save?

  11. Timberrr15

Johnny don’t worry we knew you were good you didn’t have to prove it tonight ;(

  12. deepthroathamburger

Well the good news is we have a pretty rough schedule coming up.

  13. ReApEr01807

Quite the entertaining hockey game, and not a *terrible* result for the tank-a-thon

Great night for Johnny but we’re only 2 points back of SJ with 2 games in hand (unfortunately we need to pull for good results now in our next two, but with Gavy and Korpi it won’t be as bad pulling for a close game but kings win in that one). SJ has 10 points since Feb 1. This one might come back to haunt us looking at how SJ has been playing, they may only get 3-6 more points total.

I liked seeing Hutchinson skate out to hug everyone. I know it’s what teams do, but he was saying in an interview a week ago that it’s like the first day of school starting a new team and I’m glad we made him feel welcome so quickly.

Incase anyone is worried about falling to « 3rd » behind SJ and Chicago. On new years Chicago has 8 wins and 20 points, Columbus had 11 wins and 24 points.

THIRTY-TWO games later, Columbus has 3 less points. It took 32 games to make a 7 point difference.

It’s going to be very hard to be at least 2 games better than Chicago in the last month. Another example. We were 7 points better than San Jose, we just lost a head to head and 32 games later they still haven’t made up those 7 points.

It’s very very hard to out tank a team that plays as bad as we have.

I can’t wait for the day when Kent Johnson no longer has to deal with coaches that have hockey dinosaur mindsets. This kid should be allowed to run the offense and instead he’s put in the backseat and is now getting less icetime than Liam fucking Foudy.

CBJ are the husband who starts an argument with their wife on their anniversary and « wins it »; then goes to bed w/o getting laid.

Any fool who pats them on the back for « winning » is just as big of an idiot.

  19. cu_sith

well that was some weird fucking shit lol.

  20. Provioso

Of all the teams to beat right now…
