  1. I got yelled at the other day for talking about Bedard. I was at my eye doctor and he knows I'm a big Sharks fan so we were talking a bit about them. The conversation ended up shifting to Bedard when he was walking me towards the waiting room and he asked me where he plays. I said Regina and someone in the waiting room misheard me and started yelling at me. I clarified what I said and that it was just the name of a Canadian city and they apologized.

Edit: And yes, half the reason I'm telling the story here is to have a comment to help you with the algorithm.

  2. If the Sharks draft Bedard, he'll probably get the same treatment at Eklund. Play a few games and then the AHL to dominate before his call up. I highly doubt Sharks management will treat him differently. That being said, Fantilli is definitely a better fit based on the players Grier likes. It'll be interesting to see how it plays out. I also see Bedard more in the mold of Paul Kariya.

  3. Barracuda update imo:
Ozzy continues to impress. He’s got a motor almost like a early Mario f. He’s got some offensive pop. Very good for/back checker.

Artemi, looks good when not shooting the puck. He’s taken a noticeable step since merkley trade picking up more minutes. Very good skater with solid puck skills. Smooth.

Gush. Needs another year. Has flashes of what he can do. is a main transition player on pp. great shot as we all know.

Boards: likely ready next year but I can see some more time in ahl as the top guy. Let him know what it’s like to be top guy a bit longer. Bring up through season.

Robins. Same as gush and coe with needing another year. Kinda a jack of all trades kinda player. Needs another year to take more responsibility’s. With the other two, getting used to ahl speed.

Viel: I hope they bring him back. Either ahl/nhl. At this point in sharks transition. Having a suitable 4th line enforcer to protect the youth is only a good thing. He’s seems to be a great team player.

Coe: like gush need another year. At times his size, skating and playmaking are top six talent. Needs more consistency. Especially with his size and skating ability. He can like gush and robins go a bit ghost for stretches. I think just needs another year.

This is pretty normal with first year ahl prospects. It’s a speed and overall skill they’ve never seen before. Next year looks for noticeable progress.

  4. ban Scouch! hell nah i don't want the Sharks finishing 2nd to ANA for the next decade+!
