Evan Bouchard is a stud that occasionally makes a dumb mistake. I love Dad.

Merill and Addison at 6 is insane

A lot of these pairings just get a lot of ice time.

  4. Fun fact we do not play mayfield and aho together anymore bc Romanov Dobson was so bad

Faulk Krug …. what an awful pairing lmao

HDCA is High-Danger Corsi Against typically… is this your spreadsheet or someone else’s because I would assume the C stands for Corsi 99% of the time.

  7. Love how DeAngelo is twice in this, as 91st and 94th.

Is NJ the only team that has all three pairings on the first page?

« Everyone » in Tampa is talking shit about Cole, but the dude has been pretty solid. With the one exception being, he’s taken a lot of penalties. But come playoff time a lot less is called, so i think he was a great addition. Aside from allegedly grooming young girls of course…

So glad we traded 3 picks for DeAngelo and gave Sanheim a 50 mil deal in the offseason coming off a career year even tho hes an inconsistent 27 yr old who had a year left on his contract.

Not like it would have made far more sense to trade Sanheim for a 1st at this deadline …

Fuck Fletcher fucked us for a long time

It would be awesome if we could filter by quality of competition and bin icetime against players into groups, such as elite, mid-level, and bottom of lineup. Bouchard and Broberg played most of their minutes against low-end competition, and crushed them, which is great. This is very different, however, than playing against elite competition and putting up those same numbers.

Bottom pairing dmen, and bottom 6 forwards, essentially play in a different league than top pairing dmen, and top 6 forwards. I think it’s critical to highlight this, so we can understand the difference between a pairing like Bouchard/Broberg, and top pairings like Burns/Slavin, Makar/Toews, Fox/Lindgren, Hamilton/Siegenthaler, etc.

I’m not sure there is an easy place to get quality of competition data, so we can’t include data we don’t have. QoC data in public models would be very appreciated, though, because it is insightful.
