    * Reichel was credited with a goal, after the prone defender knocked the puck into his own net trying to defend a 2-on-1.
    * A strong forecheck led to an Anderson goal.
    * Josi broke Stalock’s shutout bid with 23.6 seconds remaining.
    * Tank report:
    * The Hawks are tied for a 3rd-worst .397 points % (54 points in 68 games). The Blue Jackets have the league-worst with .371 (49 points in 66 games).

Richardson is the anti-Colliton. We may never lose again

This is beyond ridiculous at this point

Here’s to hoping Anaheim San Jose and Columbus all win to stay close since we love winning I guess

Tank is always off against Trashville

Hey how about Luke takes the rest of the season off after the great job he’s done and maybe let’s give good ole Kinger another crack behind the bench…

I know we want to lose to get better odds at the draft but also – would it not be top tier meme material if this rag tag group went on a massive streak, made it to the playoffs, and took the cup?

It’s never going to happen but… it’d be fun if it did, no?

Might win Saturday against Arizona but we’ve gotta start dropping these games in regulation

Where I come from, we call this a “streak”. SSI Gang representing!

  9. Higuy013

My bet on under our season points total is in grave danger, I already know I’m going to lose it by 0.5 on last game of the season

Put the house on a Stanley Cup win, I keep telling you all!

It’s genuinely insane to me how this team has seemingly gotten better post-deadline. It’s a bit frustrating because I think our chances of finishing last are slim to none at this point, but you’ve gotta respect the effort and also the great work Richardson is doing as coach.

On a related note, I can’t wrap my mind around how awful the Blue Jackets are. They weren’t even trying to be losers this year and somehow they’re out-tanking all the tankers. That’s an impressive level of incompetence.

Failed season, we’ll pick some smuck up at #6 in this draft and hopefully they’ll turn into a halfway useful person eventually. Our leadership on this team are too weak to pull off a tank so buckle up yall, we are just wasting another season. It’s going to be a loooooooooooong time before seeing a good team again. We’ll be middling/bottom feeders forever.

Maybe 2024, 2025, or 26 we’ll complete a successful tank and finally get some prospects that will make us competitive around ~2030.

Come to a winning game thread, leave for the negativity. Jeez guys.

  14. gudenes_yndling

Wtf. seriously, these meaningless wins need to stop

  15. Cookiemoon914

Why is everyone mad that our young players are getting experience? Bedard is a once in a lifetime talent, but these players are trying to keep their jobs. Professional athletes are in a highly competitive market where contracts are not guaranteed if you’re a low/mid level player. Wouldn’t you be busting your ass to be good enough? Be happy we won and stop getting so pissed off for not having a less than 50% chance at even getting the number one pick. The lottery is literally designed to stop teams from tanking. This isn’t the NFL, we’re not guaranteed the first pick

  16. Capable-Average4429

When do we collect the President’s Trophy again? Gotta put that on my calendar.

  17. cam_barker_4_norris

Fuck it’s the Joey Anderson show I guess… who are we picking at 10?
