If I unfocus my eyes his helmet makes him look like Bedard.

We have Tverberg, Ovchinnikov and Niemela all coming over now. Great to see.

Played a round of golf with the guy during a esports tournament. This was 2 years ago, seemed obnoxious and didn’t have the best attitude towards others. Everyone has off days, hope he has matured and is a great player for the team.

Article calls out his willingness to forecheck and throw his body around, but at 5’11 180 he better be focusing on his scoring abilities as I don’t think that size often translates to big hitting bottom 6 players at the pro level.
Will be great to see what he has.

Dubas’ drafts are starting to bear fruit now. It’s been a long time coming but it’s exciting to see the kids beginning their pro development.

Not that it really matters, but can anyone tell me the origin of that last name? Sounds Nordic/Baltic to me, but very uncommon!

« Another » late round gem? Who was the first one?
Finding NHLers with later picks is good, and maybe im being pedantic, but I wouldn’t call Engvall, Johnsson, Brown, etc late round « gems ». A late round gem is when you find a Mark Stone, Jamie Benn, Ulmark, etc. We haven’t had one of those in decades.
