Sounds like Devon was only signing if he got his contract with the Sabres directly. Has any goalie played directly in the NHL prior to getting games in the minors? Hope we don't ruin his confidence first game in the NHL!

I covered Seamus Kotyk when he was in the minors in the Sharks' organization while I was in college. Devon is going to do very well under his wing, much like UPL did to take over as the #1 likely next season.

Feel bad he has a very soft team in front of him. We need to get tougher grow some balls show some heart. We were in a playoff hunt and fell off the map. And no one is talking about the soft play and lack of physicality throughout the entire lineup. Soffffftttt
A glorious day in Sabres hockey! Let us hope this young man raises our first Stanley Cup. All we need is time and trust in Adams’ plan.
Sabres have made a good amount of improvement from last year and played inspired and fun hockey,. I don't feel we have the defense or goalie to win right now. However the experience these young guys have gained by playing in these situations will only serve them well as we go forward.
Unless we make changes in our defense, Levi will be left to defend for himself like they do to their goalies now.
