Honestly this was a pretty good game. I'm impressed with many of the boys. Take care all.

  2. Give the Bruins the cup already, not even with Mcdavid ,oilers will go out in shame just like the flames,Bruins are da best

  3. Looks like Nuge is listening to my coaching advice and learning when to take a quick shot without dusting it off. Good to see.

  4. Ekholm a +3 tonight, and a +10 in his first 7 games with the Oilers.

  5. bruce! dude! game winning goals with a team scoring from behind? that's not a gwg; you know better

  6. i',m telling you that it should be "leon's scythe" not this nonsense about "executioner's shot"

  7. No way Kostin should ever be out of the lineup unless he's sick, or started to regress. Losing Barrie to get Ekholm was like getting $1.00 and giving up .80 cents. It's a great addition but the upgrade is offset. Certain 3rd and 4th liners appear to be working harder these days knowing that, unlike in the past, there are other talented and good to go players just begging for a chance to take their place in the lineup. Bouchard is a conundrum so often. Sather said of Coffee "He could be the best player on the ice, and the worst player, all on the same shift". I'd say that of Bouchard at times)

  8. Nice win. Keep wracking up those points, secure that playoff spot. Majority of the NHL fanbase has no desire to see them bubble their way out.

  9. It has been stated that the pp doesn’t run through the point, it runs through Mcdavid. Tonight Mcdavid was fighting the puck a bit and I think this reflected on the pp. Not that it was poor just not great.

  10. So with the Yamo critique, I almost called into the Ched call in after the game to ask with great consternation why the hell does this team reward bottom 6 goal scorers like Kostin with 3 games of healthy scratch while a top 6 Yamo does little nothing meaningful yet still gets dressed?!!!!
    WTF!
Then I hear Stauffer say on the broadcast, Kostin had to get his game going etc etc etc, well he's been healthy scratched for 3 games and is getting about 6 minutes?!
Who the hell wants to play for a team that doesn't reward results?!!
