I miss the january kraken, 7 game road trip W's, beating the bruins, getting 1 in the division after beating new jersey….. now look at us after the break…. totally embarrassing, let in 6 of 23 shots our goalies, defense sucks, and after the break we are letting in 4 goals a game! WHAT A JOKE!
Big inter division win👍 a regulation loss hurts more it seems this time of season, so tough to make up ground with teams often getting a point even in a loss. It's why I think no Battle of Alberta this year. Flames have a tough task ahead
Just when I thought I had Ekholm the Viking figured out he comes out today and gets a casual 3 point night. Great to see Kane getting his game back at the PERFECT time of the season. Oilers forward group is DEEP… they still can put in Holloway and McLeod who are out with injuries.
Evander Kane doesn't get enough credit for what he's brought to this team so far.. He's the type of player almost every team, if they already don't have that type of player, would love to have him.. He's a goal scorer, and an agitator.. It's such a lethal combo.
Big win for the Oil. That puts them 3 points clear of Seattle for 3rd in the division. LA might be reachable but the Oilers need to keep playing solid hockey to win games while the Kings have to fall off a little.
So happy Holland got Ekholm instead of Jakob Chychrun… Ekholm has almost Double Chychruns points since both joining new teams and is WAY better defensively.

Goal tending clear difference in this game today. Oilers don't win if Skinner isn't solid, as they didn't play great. Seattle's was terrible.
