  1. Murray stole this game for the Leafs. The Leafs were turning over the puck all night and were incredibly sloppy in thier own end. I thought Nylander, Bunting and Liljegren were particularly awful. Yeah, its their 3rd game in 4 nights but 52 shots against? We won the game but it feels like a loss.

  2. The good news is that we didn't blow a 2 goal lead. If we did, I would've lost it! But what a game. Matt Murray got his revenge on the Sens and the rest was a close one. LET'S GO LEAFS!

  3. Well, I guess I was
right about the Sens being really tough !
But you guys were tired also !
That was one pretty goal Marner scored !
    Good effort guys !
    You got the 2
    points !
It keeps you 3 points ahead of the Lightning !
    Surefoot got the belt ?
    Mike.

  4. I don't know what people are saying. Even the players. Murray looks like a shaky goalie that got really lucky. He does not move well in the net. His pads are too high off the ice. He goes down too early. He plays too far from the crease. He's a liability. He is only here to give Sammy the necessary rest he needs to be our goalie in the playoffs.

  5. The leafs need to start to rebuild again. You give up over 50 shots to a bottom feeder NHL team. Don’t even say the team played back to back and were tired. Like geez the team just flew from Toronto – Ottawa..It’s games like tonight that make me lose any faith I have with this team. Because just like they beat the Canes with a great performance last night, it has the ability to turn into a nightmare of a team. Until this garbage stops the team won’t be taken seriously. Go Leafs Go

  6. Was at the game tonight, soooo many Leafs jerseys witnessed this outright robbery by Matt Murray. Leafs had no business even getting a single point tonight, sloppy, horrible play for much of the night on the 2nd of a back to back. Passing? What passing? More giveaways than an Oprah episode. Matthews giveaway at the end of OT was probably the worst play I’ve ever seen him make, very un-Austonian of him. But all night, horrible decisions, long passes that were not going to work, just lazy and sloppy play. But hey, they eked out a win on Murray’s back with the solid .912 save percentage.

  7. Team looked beyond atrocious tonight. Fortunate to have 1 pt let alone 2. Big stop on Stutzle in OT, Murray. Wow.

  8. Ottawa is no botton feeder team that are playing great after Christmas and they have alot of good players that bring it with the forwards they have that can score and with the addition of Chykerun they can really move it up the ice to their forwards to make difficult on the goalie Murray and Holl and Brodie and Leljgren was not having good game with Nylander was shying away for the hits and battling for the puck and penalties and Jake McCabe tries to be a goalie and the puck ends on Ottawa stick and they score quickly to tie game up when the leafs had a 2 goal lead.

  9. 3rd game in 4 days after playing two monster teams. Anyone complaining needs to find a new team to boo.

  10. NYLANDER …. not many 5 on 5 gaols since being separated from MATTHEWS
NYLANDER – MATTHEWS – BUNTING …… I hope this line is re-united by at least playoff time …. smarten up KEEFE

  11. I was there not one sens fan lol 😂😂😂 leafs Nation took over wait ago Murray I was rocking the matthews jersey

  12. I'm really excited for our role players and our 3rd and 4th lines. I'd still put O'Reilly has the 3rd line center with Jarnkrok and Accari. ZAR, Lafferty and Kampf on the 4th line. I'd put Kerfoot on 1st line with Matthews and Nylander. Bunting, Tavares and Marner on the 2nd line. Brodie and McCabe as a 1st shutdown pairing. Rielly and Liljegren as the 2nd paired. Giordano and Schenn. As the 3rd pairing. Whoever is healthy in the playoffs, I'd go with either goalie. This team is deep. I wouldn't even think of playing Holl and I'd make Gustafsson the 7th defenseman above Holl. I actually like Holl. But he is a bit of a liability and I'm tired of the constant bitching from band wagon fans.

  13. 4 goals on murry ai t the way to win against the good teams . why the phuck is he still here wasti g cap?

  14. Hey, TML, just a thought. Have your scrums away from a demolition zone, and tell the reporters that it's ok to speak up to a level that viewers can hear.

  15. What a crazy thrilling game!
    Matt made some incredible saves.
Happy for Calle scoring two goals!
Auston is such a generous person, happy for his teammates successes. Such a special man.

And Mitchy… always everywhere and playing with such passion!

That shootout was brutal on the nerves.
So happy that Bunts scored! 💙
    I shouted put out Kerf!
    Boom!
    Game over 💙
    Love my Leafs
    💙💙💙

  16. Murray is brutal but it doesn't have having Holl on the ice for all but 1 against. I get Murray faced alot of shots but this 4 goals against is bs. He's a decent back up but Sammy is number 1, just like I said the second I heard both were our goalies.

  17. Getting the win on the second night of a back to back on the road is always nice. Thought Murray played well despite the 4 goals. He was peppered with shots and made 48 saves in total. Made some big saves especially in the shootout. Go Leafs Go!

  18. 3 games in 4 nights it showed, but still got the win, the wannabe wildcard Sens not good enough

  19. with Acieri, ZAR and Jarnkrok each scoring two goals in the last three games, and D men Reilly, McCabe scoring and Gustafson point shot in last two games, Leafs look 10x better in bottom six and D contributing than before trade deadline. So prospects of success in playoffs is that much better.

  20. Kudos to an emerging Ottawa team, they will be a force in the east soon. Matt Murray played better than he has recently and made some nice saves but let's not get carried away. This game could have gone either way. Still, the fans got their money's worth and a win is a win.

  21. Matthews: umm , uhh , umm, duh, uhh ,umm, ahh , uhh, ahh,uh,umm, ah,ummmm, uhhh, uhh, um, ahh uhh , umm, duh, uhh ,umm, ahh , uhh, ahh, uh, umm, ah, ummmm, uhhh, uhh, uhh, umm, ahh , umm, ahh , uhh, ahh,uh,umm, uhh, uh , um, ah,ummmm, uhhh, uhh, um, ahh uhh , umm, duh, uhh ,umm, ahh , uhh, ahh, uh, umm, ah, ummmm, uhhh, uhh, uhh uhh, ahh,uh,umm, ah,ummmm, uhhh, uhh, um, ahh uhh , umm, duh, uhh ,umm, ahh , uhh, ahh, uh, umm, ah, ummmm, uhhh, uhh, uhh, umm, ahh , uhh, ahh,uh,umm, ah, ummmm, uhhh, uhh, um, ahh uhh , umm, duh, uhh ,umm, ahh , uhh, ahh, uh, umm, ah, ummmm, uhhh, uhh, uhh. Great interview. Very well said!

  22. Matt Murray has had the worst luck the past few years. As a member of the goaltender's union, I have to say, fundamentally, he's pretty sound. In his last 3 or 4 starts, it's hard to fault him on any goal really, maybe one. Like Andy Moog or Tim Thomas, he's a classic "battler". In a close game in the third period, I feel more comfortable with Murray in the net, as he sometimes seems to "will himself" to a save. IMHO, the goaltender choice for game 1 is not so clear cut. I personally would lean toward Murray.

  23. I was at this game, and the Blue and White definitely outnumbered the home team by a wide margin
