Everyone praises Brad for turning it around but this is why you don’t overpay your expected « top » players without results (even if it was formerly earned). Now Huberdeau and Kadri are just going to take that easy paycheck, what an incredibly frustrating season.

« I love money. I love everything about it. I bought some pretty good stuff. Got me a $300 pair of socks. Got a fur sink. An electric dog polisher. A gasoline-powered turtleneck sweater. And, of course, I like money more the hockey, when hell freezes over, I’ll play hockey »~~Jonathan Huberdeau

Out of goalies who have played at least 5 games, Markstrom ranks 67th in GAA%. There are 64 Starters/Backups in the league.

I think that caps the season for me. I’d secretly been holding out hope, but it’s done now.
This was the first game I’ve been to all season. The frustrating thing that for most of the game they play well. What seems to kill us is
A) zero finish
B) everyone is snake bit (5 posts including in OT?$
C) bad defensive breakdowns that come out of nowhere. Last night there were three 3 or 4 on one rushes that could easily have converted.
Agree that huberdeau and kadri were a complete non presence in the game.

Some positives from being at last nights game:
1) Got a point after spotting Dallas 2 goals in the first 2 minutes of the game
2) That guy wearing the Weegar jersey won a free trip to Vegas thanks to Weegar scoring.(Probably the most hype goal of this regular season)
3) Mangiapane – Lindholm – Toffoli is looking fucking good
4) The pocket dawg I ate was the most delicious one I’ve had all season and it cured my St. Patrick’s day hangover

Keys to scoring more than 2 goals a game:
1. Run different lines every night
2. See step 1

Lazy turnovers, can’t clear rebounds….

I feel for Huberdeau. He definitely has a lot of blame on his shoulders, but he’s coming to place where the hockey fans are crazy, it’s cold AF, the arenas falling apart, and the coach hates his playing style. He’s clearly not comfortable in this environment, and it’s shattered his confidence.
It’s on him and the organization to make this work. It has to.
