How in gods name did Ottawa get to the finals, Ray Emery is shit, i would be afraid if i was a sens fan, knowing that emery is in goal. Ottawa must of played some shit teams to get to the finals. If i was the General Manager of the sens, i would fire emery.
I think this series proved that the West is just a lot better than the East. Consider that the 7 & 8 seeds from the West took the number one seeds from the East to a seventh game. And now, when a higher seed advances from the West, the series was lopsided.
The NHL should reconfigure itself into two eight team conferences: a Canadian division consisting of the habs, maple leafs, senators, oilers, canucks, and two american teams that nobody cares about (like the panthers and predators, should be moved to canada to recreate the nordiques and jets. Then there should be an american division consisting of the bruins,flyers,sabres,rangers,penguins,redwings,blackhawks,and avalanche. All other teams should be dissolved.
This game was so depressing. The Sens started off badly this game and it just went downhill from there, with Chris Phillips scoring on his own net. Emery did not play well this game but has played well over the season. Although I wanted the Sens to win, the Anaheim Ducks were the better team (with great CANADIAN players)…I have faith that the Sens will bring home the cup soon.
ducks got lucky.. lmao wow come on people if you know hockey in the least bit you should know that anaheim was truly the better team, ottawa lost to a superior team by far, there was no luck in this series besides the luck of ottawa getting one game in it.
this sucks. im a devils fan. and watching ottawa just completly crush all the Eastern Conference opponents in 5 games then they show up in the finals and completly embaress themselves…
