Thank you for covering this, the fans here are completely fed up, tear it all down and start from the ground! Hire Lindros and keep Briere at GM thats a start. Prideful organIzation and fanbase that has become an embarassment. The fans are not only good with a total rebuild, it is the only way back! Bad for a couple years? Fine, we have been bad since 2010
Revamp the entire front office and have Comcast sell the team. They are interested in money not winning. Bottom 6 team for years to come unless serious changes come. This is not a rebuild.
They’ve missed the 4 of 5 playoffs including this year i am a die hard orange and black, im from Grey’s Ferry South Philly and as far as them being scared the fans being angry and loseing them if they rebuild, they’ve been losing the fans since towards the end of Hextal because they’ve been so mediocre and consistently average. I do have hope in Danny Briere
Comcast spectacor cares more about renovating the arena, coming out with a ridiculously annoying mascot that gets in just about everyone’s way while we’re losing, incorporate an obnoxious drum at the beginning of the game trying to be the Vegas Knights or something. Worry about putting talent on the ice first if you want asses in the seats

Hextall wasn't good either. This year he traded a 2nd rounder for Granlund who hasn't been good for a few years who has 2 more years at $5 million.

Second, Hextall set the franchise back a decade by his terrible drafts.
Fletcher was equally terrible with his long term contracts.
It's a mess and needs a total tear down.

so much shit has gone wrong from the Flyers. Mismanaged draft picks, bad trades, the Nolan Patrick injury, terrible contracts. You name the Flyers have had it happen! Full rebuild is the only way. Trade everyone!
