  1. Just imagine, a career high 54 points before a contract year. Goes above and beyond for 1 half of a season. We trade Horvat for basically Aatu Raty, Anthony Beauvillier and Filip Hronek. Please, someone tell me how we lost that trade!

  2. The petey factor? Ep40 made him great now he’s not on the same team he’s a great leader but not going to pile up the points ?

  3. Best Trade so far for Beauviille Horvat on pace 60 goals as canucks a least he had 30 goals for canucks plus trade first round picks for a Defenseman Hronek and He's a rental

  4. I gotta say.. Horvat basically leading the league in goals while here, is a direct correlation to him putting us on his chest. Not just contract incetives. Plus the return we got for him is looking like a kings ransom.. we should be thanking Bo. ❤ your channel. 🙏🏿

  5. Bo plays the toughest minutes against every team's top lines. There should be a trickle down effect for the rest of his team. He should score more, but even if he doesn't and they get enough wins (they're in the playoffs at this moment) he's doing his job. I expect him to play even better in the playoffs the way he elevated his game for the Canucks when they got in.

  6. He’s actually been solid. It’s not all about goals and assists. He’s been a very effective overall player. He’ll be a beast if they make the playoffs. I hate when a player’s worth is all measured in goals and assists. This isn’t the 80s. He’s out there in all situations for the Isles. He doesn’t need to be a goal scorer there. That’s the same mentality that only got Kesler the Selke after he scored 41 goals. If that’s what it takes, why hasn’t Miller won the Selke?

  7. The thing is that Pettersson doesn't go really have cold streaks where he's pointless for games on end. EP40 being "cold" would be like 1 goal and 6 assists in 10 games…. and those assists would usually mean Kuzmenko or Beauvillier getting points. Thus the chances of Beauvillier hitting a slump would be difficult, unless he's sent down the lineup.
As long as Beauvillier plays at least like a 50 points player, it's already a win.

  8. Simple he plays against the other teams best lines and when barzal got hurt lambert got the entire team playing a more simple defense first style game, Anders lee also plays a crash the net style and they have no RW to play on line 1 with barzal and wahlstrom out, I do wish the islanders could of figured a way to keep Beauviller while acquiring horvat then he could of been playing RW then moved back to LW when barzal returned

  9. Can we be realistic though? Horvat was never a big point producer. I was kind of dumbfounded that isles fans thought he was a goal scorer… he’s not. But he IS great. I don’t care how many pts beauvillier gets, horvats strength was his 2 WAY GAME! He was defensively sound and he wins a huge amount of face offs. It’s hard to put that into terms that compare to points, but I’d take horvat over miller any day of the week.

  10. Did I just hear you say miller is great at creating plays!?!? I agree!!! For both teams unfortunately, and usually the opposing team gets the benefit more than the Canucks.

  11. Goodness gracious you seem salty. The Isles lost Barzal EXACTLY when Horvat's goals dried up.

If it weren't for EVERYTHING else he does the Isles are sitting in the 7 spot, not even close.

I love Beau, I hope he flourishes and finds his ceiling with Vancouver. This hate from Canucks fans, of all fan bases, began in last draft when you thought you were getting Dobson for JT Miller.

Then Vancouver moronically trades the pick. Isles are a better team with Bo Horvat and with Barzal will continue to have 40 goal seasons while Barzy racks up assists.

  12. Yeah his points aren’t up there but he’s been a powerhouse for the team. There’s been so many times where he wins the Faceoff and isles end up scoring. He’s not getting the goals but he’s for sure helping

  13. Bo's mind is still in Vancouver where he loved/loves it more…..meaning all parts of life….etc etc

  14. Nothing happened.. he is a 55 to 60 points a yr player. Not worth 8 mil a yr…not even close. Bwaahahhaaaaaa

  15. Horvat is decent player but he was never as good as the return the Nucks got for him or the contract Bo got from the NYI’s😂

  16. Islanders surrendered 1st rounder+ for Horvat and immediately turned him into a negative asset.

  17. As a Canuck fan I think the Islanders fans are happy with that trade. Since the trade they have improved their record, and climbed into the first wild card spot, regardless of having played 3 or 4 more games than most of the teams around them at the time of the trade. And that is without Barzal. The Canucks have done better (or worse depending how you look at it) since the trade too. They are both 2 games over .500 since the trade.

  18. As far as the contract goes, the Canucks offered Bo a fair contract. He has been a 2nd line center his whole career. A quality 2nd line center, and captain, but 2nd line none the less. $7.5 million per year was a fair offer. That is what he is worth. The Islanders overpaid, and for 1 year too long. I like Bo, but that is a bit too much, for a bit too long.
