Vegas has such annoying goal horn. It’s obscenely long.
Jackets are in the midst of 12 of 15 on the road. Through 10 games they are 2-7-1, with games remaining at Washington, New York Rangers, Boston and Toronto. The lone home game is with the Islanders. Realistically, Columbus only has a chance to win in two of their remaining 13 games, both on the road at Montreal and Philadelphia.
Dorofeyev has been playing great after that header goal got him started 😂 Did not expect that. Hope he gets to play more from now on to see if he can keep it up

So happy for Eichel. Great game . Quite a way to break a cold streak lol also so you know the reason Eichel grabbed the hat was because Cassidy wants to start a tradition he had in Boston where anytime there’s a hat trick they keep one and put it up in the locker room.
According to the postgame pressers, Eichel grabbing the hat is to start a tradition that Butch and the boys want to start of collecting hats from a players hat tricks, signing/dating the hats, and then displaying them in the locker or training rooms.

Cool little nugget about the hat thing for Eichel; Bruce Cassidy wants to start a tradition similar to one that was in Boston that every hat trick the player picks a hat and they hang it in the equipment room! Obviously there haven’t been many for Vegas but that’s the first one for that hopefully long standing tradition!

Gold helmets are for a juvenile hockey team. I find it amazing that Shannon does not use at least one CBJ magnet with the cannon logo.
I saw that same stat on the broadcast that CBJ allowed 5+ in seven straight but just two games ago they only allowed 4 to the Kings in a 4-1 loss. Can’t trust everything you see on TV I guess 🤷♂️

The most hilarious part of this game that hasn't been getting around the NHL world outside of Winnipeg and Columbus is that Laine was the Blue Jackets' top center, and is apparently going to stay as their top center for the foreseeable future.
And he was pretty good at it. His line crushed the Wild Bill line all afternoon. And he was backchecking! He literally raced back goal line to goal line to break up a 2-on-1. I believe Gamescore and NatStatTrick had him far and away as Columbus's best player in this game. The one glaring flaw is he won like two faceoffs. So he's taking the Kuznetsov approach in that one area.
To think that after all the time and energy spent by two NHL organizations to find Laine a center, it may be the center was Laine all along.
Dont worry, whenever I see Columbus I'm going to watch, even though I know it's usually for an embarrassing debacle 😂

Exactly how many views do you expect for a video where you recap one game? You're getting almost half the views of a video where you recap 3 games so seems like you're ahead in views to me.

i watch the post game stuff for vegas games and the reason jack took the hat is because bruce told him to, bruce said in boston they had a tradition to keep a hat and hang it in the locker room, so he wanted to start that in vegas
